In a crowded diner, two long tables were occupied by the basketball players from the Engineering and Medical faculty of Vongviphan University. They were so loud, shouting at each other's faces as if they were mountains apart.

Beam sat between Forth and Phana. He was talking animatedly to the Medical student, asking al lot of things and quenching his curiosities.

"My dad told me about you beating my records." Phana opened up.

"Really, P'?" Beam asked surprised that Mr. Kongthanin brought his name in their conversations.

The Phana chuckled, "Yeah, he even mentioned that Forth got mad because you finished earlier than the time allotted." He started lifting his hand ruffling Beam's hair before leaning in to whisper.

'Don't worry. He just doesn't understand things like that cuz it's exclusive for smart people.'

Beam's eyes widen and he looked at Forth while hiding his chuckles. The latter glared at Phana. It wasn't exactly whispering when the whole table heard what Phana murmured to Beam.

"Pha!! You're digging your own grave!!"
His members shouted when they noticed the dark aura surrounding the Engineering's team captain.

"If looks could kill, we are now preparing your funeral." Another added.

Lam intervened. "If it's your way of getting back to us after losing the game, I'm begging you stop it." Clasping his hand together while acting desperate.
The other engineering students agreed, nodding their heads as if it was the most logical statement they heard from Lam.

Sharp who was silently eating invited Phana to play a mobile game with him, leaving Beam to Forth.

"So, Phana is your favorite P', now?" Forth asked with a serious face but having the intention of teasing Beam.

"No! P'Joss is still the best!" Beam replied a little loud taking the attention of the others from whatever they were doing to them.

The fake expression Forth was sporting was turned to a real one. His ears alerted hearing an unfamiliar name.

"Mind telling me who is Joss.." Forth implored. The table was filled with an unknown atmosphere, it was cold but then they were sweating, nervous.

"No." Beam straightforwardly countered.

"Okay, I'll tell Mae that you are hiding an affair." Forth replied, mocking Beam who glared at him.

"You can't do that! I'm going to sleep on the couch or I'll tell Por that I'm going back to the main house."

Beam's retort made everyone's jaw dropped.

"What the--"

"You're living together?!"

Both Forth and Beam broke out of their own world, simultaneously facing the others. The younger squeezed his brain cells for a bright idea when a light bulb appear in that very moment.

"Restroom, P'." Forth pointed the way.

"I'll go with you."

"No, stay here."

Forth sighed in defeat as he slumped back to his seat. Facing the grinning members of his basketball team.

"So, you and Beam..." One of the players asked.

"Me and Beam, what?" Forth coldly inquired, challenging his friend to finish his sentence.

"Y-you're both handsome?" Earning a smacking on his head.

'WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?!'

"Phana probably knew it. He doesn't seem to be surprised." Sharp stated waiting for Phana to answer.

"Dad told me Beam was with Forth for almost a week, already. Happy?" He plainly said.

Forth was about to say something when the waiter came and gave him a drink with a piece of paper. At first, he was confused but then the server pointed a table occupied by a group of girls who waved when he turned to their direction.

The teasing and howling started again. His friends really don't know appropriateness in public places. He was about reject the drink.

"TELL THEM FORTH'S ON BABYSITTING DUTIES." Lam shouted making the others laugh out loud. Forth can't help but throw some nuts on his useless friends.

"Go on, Ai'Forth. We'll take care of your wife." Tul added.

"No, thanks. Mom would probably kill me if I leave Beam to a bunch idiots."
Forth rejected and spared his gang a warning glare but they just don't understand.

Just then, he received a message from Beam.

'Forth, I went somewhere. Enjoy with your friends.'

The tone I the message somewhat bothered him. He tried to call Beam but the phone was already switched off. Forth feels that Beam wanted to be alone but the thought of the younger walking by himself troubled him.

It was around 10 pm when he received another message from Mingkwan.

'P', where are you? Did you Fight with N'Beam?'

Upon reading, he stood up curs ing himself while reaching his cousin's contract number.

"Where are you going?" Phana asked.

"Home."

Good thing, his cousin answered, immediately.

"What do you mean by that message?" He straightforwardly asked without any greetings.

'I just saw him here, P'. At the convenient store, he is sleeping. P'Joss said he was stressed and needed a place to stay. So he waited until P'Joss shift is over.'

Ming explained.

But Forth was stunned.
