This is book 2 to my Castlevania series! Based on how well this book goes I will decide if I should continue. I want to make each season its own book. (Season 2: Freedom) if book 3 happens plz comment what you would like to see happen!!

When the sun came up the next day. The air of the city was full of sadness.
The streets were covered in blood. Both demon and human.

People were doing their best to clean up the city and rebuild and repair the damage caused by the night monsters.

But thankfully not a single speaker was hurt during the night. They were all safe in the catacombs. But they were a little freaked out by the dead cyclops. One was even convinced that it had moved, even though it had a large hole through its head.

When the speakers met Alucard they were all amazed by him, even though he was a vampire they did not seem to care. They all saw him as their savior and the killer of Dracula.

But what did bring me great joy was that the Bishop had died last night. Half of his disgusting face had been ripped off by a demon. The most ironic part was that he died in his house of God. Guess Gods, not in all of his churches.

I did tell him he would die. Now he's in hell, his precious God had long abandoned him.
---------------

I stood next to Trevor as we watched Sypha wave goodbye to her grandfather and fellow speakers. I knew it was hard for her to be on her own and not with her people.

She was not worried about them but herself.

I watched as Trevor took a couple of steps forward. Setting a hand on her shoulder in a comforting kind of way.

" your people are going to be fine," Trevor told her. But she didn't look at him.

" I know. And I know they have to do it. Other towns need their aid. And to have their stories saved. I'm not worried about them." Sypha admitted.

I decided to walk back alone to where we had left Alucard. I wished to speak with him about a few things in private.

Without Trevor or Sypha noticing, I slipped away and quickly made my way back.

I spotted him where we left him sitting on the ground in the speaker's old home. He appeared to be drawing in the dirt.

What I found curious was that he did not burn in the sunlight. I kinda figured that it was because he was half-human.

He didn't appear to notice me as I stood behind him.

"Your quite good'' I commented looking down at the drawings of Dracula and.......Lisa. A painful pang hit my heart

I sat down in front of him

"There's not many people that can sneak up on me" Alucard stated looking up at me.

I shrugged my shoulders sitting down.

"I'm not like many people" I shrugged with a smile.

"Before, in the catacombs, you said that you have seen my father and mother. Was that true" His golden eyes locked with my red ones.

I looked away and gazed down at Lisa a solemn expression on my face.

"Yes, it is very much true," I whispered.

"If I tell you, you can't tell Trevor or Sypha. I'm only telling you because they are your parents" I admitted.

"I won't tell them if you wish me not to" he watched me.

I let out a sigh and started to draw random shapes in the dirt with my finger.

"I was a slave once you know" I admitted, flashbacks of my slave days appearing in my mind.

"How did you escape," he asked looking at me with curious eyes.

"I killed my master" I allowed a skinny bone to grow from my hand. It was the size of a small stick.

"A little over a year ago, when I was a slave" I began to explain.

"My master at the time was a nobleman. He was beating me in the street after I had collapsed..... Your mother, she came out of nowhere and threw herself over me. A total stranger. She protected me, demanded that she help me......My master had agreed and she brought me to her home. But when my master had seen all of the medical and things of science at her home. He grew fearful and angry. While she took care of me. He had run to the church and accused her of witchcraft. Told them of everything, he had seen in her home." I started to draw shapes in the ground using my bone tool.

"They came, the church came and took her from her home. They dragged her away and set her house on fire. I begged and begged but they did not believe me. They took her to the church and burned her. I tried so hard to save her like she had saved me. " I watched as a few teardrops hit by shaking hands.

A pale hand came into my vision and held my hand stopping it from shaking.

I watched as Alucard pulled my hand towards him. His cold fingers tracing over my scars on my wrist. His hands were so soft.

"And my father" he questioned.

"It was about 4 months ago. The hoards had attacked the city I was in. I was supposed to be killed by a demon but your father was there. He had ordered that I not be touched. He told me that he would spare my life because of what I did for Lisa and how I tried to save her. He gave me 3 days of safe passage" I explained.

Alucard stopped tracing my scars and looked up at me.

He didn't say anything for a moment.

"Thank you" those two words confused me.

"Why are you" I started but he cut me off.

"You tried to save my mother, you stood up for her while no one else did and for telling me this" he answered me.

"You shouldn't thank me Alucard. I could have saved her! If I was stronger if I had fought more" I pulled my hand away from him grabbing my head.

His smooth cold hands grabbed my face.

"You did what you could. You tried that is all that matters. You were not the one who killed her" he told me. His face only inches from mine.

I froze. My eyes locked with his.

"Alucard" I whispered.

He pulled away and looked back down at the drawings on the ground.

What had I just felt?

The sound of approaching footsteps caught our attention.

"So this is where you snuck off to." Trevor crossed his arms at me. Sending a glare to Alucard.

"Well yes, I thought that you and Sypha needed a moment to your self and that Alucard might be lonely all by himself" I shrugged with a smirk leaning back on my arms.

Sypha's face changed to a bright pink at my comment. She sent a hard glare in my direction.

Causing me to chuckle, this was quite the group we had.

A Mage, A Hunter, A Vampire Prince, and A Cursed human.

What a merry bunch we were
