I squirmed in my sleep I reached out trying to find what I was cuddled against only to feel a hard cold wall.

I slowly blink my eyes open and realized im alone. Another pang came from my heart. I had hoped I would wake up in Alucard's arms.

Guess I was wrong.

I stood up holding his coat in my arms. I dusted it off before making my way through the bookcases.

I soon heard Alucard and Sypha's voice. They were talking to each other.

Another pang.

I took a deep breath before rounding the corner coming face-to-face with Alucard and Sypha.

Sypha smiled at me while Alucard just nodded his head at me. I gave a fake smile back. I guess yesterday truly did not mean anything.

I held out Alucard's coat, "thanks for letting me use this".

He reached out his cold hand just grazing mine. Quickly I withdrew my hands before turning around and speed walking away.

" wow, where you off to" Trevor laughed as he watched me.

"Nowhere" I sighed stopping and walking over to him.

His face became serious.

"Since your a Belmont now, your gonna have to learn to act like one" he stated with his large arms crossed in front of him.

I was confused now. How could I act like a Belmont?

"I wanna teach you some things. Like fighting and some of the Belmont history." Trevor stated looking me in my eyes.

"You" I pointed at him. "Want to train with me" I was shocked.

"Yes, I want to make sure you know how to protect yourself against all monsters" he smiled at me this time.

"But first we gotta get you a weapon. You can't always rely on that weird bone thing you do" Trevor had waved his finger at me.

"But I already have a silver dagger" I pointed back at him.

"Who said I was gonna give you a dagger. I have something else in mind" he smiled and wrapped one of his arms around my shoulder leading me to a display case full of weapons.

He released me and walked over picking up a sword sheath. I watched in confusion as he smiled down at it and walked over to me.

"This belonged to my grandfather" he handed me the sword and I carefully took it from him.

"It's called Dawn Splitter"

I studied the sheath. It was a dark brown leather with a metal Belmont crest on the sides.

I grabbed the handle of the sword and pulled it from the sheath. I was surprised by how light it was. It also fits perfectly in my hand.

"It's a special sword you see" Trevor took the sword from my hand.

"You see, this is a dual broadsword" my mouth opened slightly as the single sword split into 2.

"They're 2 halves of a single weapon. Don't think of them as separate, because they're not, they're just 2 different parts of the same blade." Trevor explained expertly waving the swords around.

"You can either use them separately or together" he stated handing me the blades now back together as one.

"Trevor, this is" I was in awe as my fingers traced over the metal.

"Don't try to say no. I'm not much of a sword guy, and if you don't take it. They're just gonna sit down here and rust away" Trevor stated dramatically putting the back of his hand to his forehead.
