Hope everyone is safe and healthy 💜

After a few hours, Freydís didn't move from her spot. She slept the whole time cuddled up against Alucard.

"We should make camp soon. We all need the rest" Sypha told Trevor pointing to a small clearing.

"Fine" he huffed glancing back at the sleeping girl curled up to Alucard.

When Alucard went to move, he tried to be careful to not wake the sleeping woman. But failed as her red eyes shot open and met with his. They were alert like she had not just been sleeping only a moment ago.

Alucard studied her eyes. Yes, he's seen many red eyes in his life, but none had ever been on a human. But her eyes seemed so different. They made you want to stare into them and never look away. They held him captive.

They almost reminded him of Rubys

"Alucard" she mumbled before her eyes drifted away from his and scanned the area seeing that the wagon had stopped.

He felt a sudden disappointment, wanting her eyes back on himself.

"We're making camp for the night" Alucard explained hoping out of the carriage.

Holding out his hand he helped Freydís down and out of the carriage.

"Thank you, and sorry for falling asleep on you" she apologized looking embarrassed.

Alucard let out a chuckle and ruffled the woman's black hair, shocked by how soft and silky it was.

"It's alright, but it was the first time I was used as a pillow" he chuckled causing the embarrassed girl to huff with red cheeks and look away.

"I'll go get us some wood" she mumbled before stalking off into the woods.

Freydís pov

"Stupid vampire" I huffed stomping through the snow picking up what wood I could find.

After my arms were full I made my way back to camp. Seeing the glow of a nice fire.

I stopped as I heard Trevor speak.

" and now he's going to use her death as an excuse to destroy the world." He stated.

That pissed me off. An Excuse? Lisa was an Excuse?!

The wood in my arms dropped to the ground as I stomped forward all attention was now on me.

I pointed at Trevor my red eyes blazing in the light of the fire.

"An excuse? AN EXCUSE? You're calling Lisa an excuse?! What Dracula is doing is right! His wife was burned alive at the stake for wanting to save people! What they did was wrong! Are you telling me that the people who killed her should have gotten no punishment?!" I snapped my body shaking in anger.

"He's killing innocent people!" Trevor stood up his face holding anger now.

"What's your definition of innocent Belmont? Are you innocent of all sins? Is Sypha? Huh?! what's the definition of innocent?!" I growled getting into his face.

"So you're saying that Dracula should kill everyone" Trevor snarled.

"Maybe a clean sweep would be good for this world. There are no good people Trevor." My eyes set into a hard glare.

"If you believe that, then why don't you go join Dracula and become his little pet?! You said he spared your life, right?! You're a monster just like him! Maybe I should kill you to" Trevor snapped with a growl.
