I went outside the house stood under the large coconut tree that stood at the end of our lawn and waited for her, when she did arrive I went and sat in the front seat of her white Mercedes Benz C300.
"Hi Catrina hope all is well" she said as she greeted me with a hug.
"It is since you came"I replied quite softly.
"Didn't hear you hun"
"It was nothing" She just glanced at me and then we drove off and headed for her home, as we drove up her driveway her house stood tall as it sat on South-views hill,with a view that took your breath away, then the car eventually came to a stop right in-front of her house.
"ok we're here home sweet home" she stated as she looked at me, we both got out of the car and stepped went inside, As I stepped in, the presence was welcoming, it was modernly decorated with a large glass chandelier hanging from the very high ceiling. I just stood there in awe of it all, it was just so beautiful and different from what I'm accustomed to at my rats nest of a house.
"I know that the house is a little too much I'm sorry you can have a seat make yourself at home I promise I won't bite" she stated jokingly. I sat down and continued observing how amazing her house was.
"Can I get you anything to eat, drink?"
"No thanks I already ate"
"Ok care to share how you ended up in the hospital?"
"I dont know"
"Ok question do you trust me?"
"I dont know i guess it's just.. it's nothing"
"Please tell me it's just that you don't know if you can?"
"Something like that" I responded then my phone rang I looked at her she nodded allowing me to answer the call I got up when I answered
"Where are you I'm here calling and no answer but you had no right leaving this house you fool for that don't come back I'll just burn your stuff but you know what come and get them they'll be outside waiting for you" Dad yelled I remained quiet and he continued rambling eventually I hung up and phone and turned it off I returned but a tear fell from my eye she immediately got up and hugged me reassuring me it was ok
"Ca-can I stay the night?"
"Sure him is it going to be ok with your dad if you stayed here?"
"its fine"
"If your sure then it's no problem"
"Thank you" I replied with a smile. We continued to talk got to know each other a bit more then eventually the sun began to set calling forth his friend the moon we continued.
"So hun I have a pair of pjs that should be able to fit you I've placed them on the bed that's the room done the hall to the left you can go and freshen up"
"ok" i went and freshened up when I came back, I went and cuddled with her I fell asleep on her so that night we both slept on the couch where we were.
The sun began to shine through the curtains
