Sequel to: So I Call You Mine
Now a mom and learning how to be a single parent, Aria goes through the struggles of motherhood and healing her broken heart. Being unable to avoid her ex lover, she has no clue how to move on as she sees him do it.
He...
Today was the day Aria and Jimmy would bring home their baby girl, Viviana. Jimmy no longer lived with her and Aria knew she would soon have to discuss the arrangement and how things were going to work. Jimmy drove slow and carefully, as Aria sat in the back with the baby. Soon they approached Aria's house.
"What now?" Jimmy asked as he parked the car.
"I don't know..." Aria sighed.
"I have no idea how to be a parent," Jimmy chuckled.
"We'll learn together." Aria said and unbuckled her seatbelt, opening the door.
They carefully grabbed the car seat and slowly made their way into the house. Aria watched as Viviana slept.
"I want to go take a shower before she wakes up," Aria quietly said.
"Want me to help you?" Jimmy stood up.
"No, stay with her, I'll be quick." Aria made her way up the stairs, trying to walk fast but she was still incredibly sore.
~ Aria walked down the stairs and heard Viviana crying, she went and seen Jimmy trying to calm her down.
He looked over his shoulder and seen Aria, "Hey, she woke up and I already changed her but I think she's hungry."
"I think we should take her to my room, everything is set up in there anyway." Aria stated.
"You.. You set up the nursery in our- your room without me?" Jimmy stuttered.
"Yeah, I mean you were pretty busy with practice and Alexandra." She harshly stated.
"Shit, Alexandra!" He gently put Viviana in Aria's arm and checked his phone. There were many calls and text messages from Alexandra, mostly were telling him to drop everything and meet her at his place. "I'll be back later. I have to go." Jimmy quickly said and ran out of the house.
Aria's heart shattered. How was he capable to just leave his newborn daughter, she thought. She felt a tear slip down and tried to control herself, Viviana began crying hard. She was all alone. She was clueless. She was in this big house all alone since each couple found a house or an apartment, thinking it was just going to be Aria and Jimmy. But that fairy tale was long gone.
After about a long three hours, Viviana was fast asleep in the car seat, Aria was too afraid to walk with her up the stairs. Every time she tried, her legs would shake and almost give out. She sat on the couch, slightly rocking the car seat when she heard a light knock on her door.
Aria stood up and opened the door, "Pierce?"
"Hey, this was in my car?" He held up a necklace.
Aria gasped and grabbed it, "Thank you, I can't believe I forgot this." She looked up at him, "Wait, how'd you know where I live?"
"I asked George, it's not too late is it? I don't want Mr. Garoppolo murdering me for stopping by," Pierce chuckled.
"Jimmy left awhile ago, and no it's not too late. Want to come in?" Aria asked.
"May I?"
"I could use the company," Aria smiled.

Pierce accepted her offer and walked inside. "I'm sorry, you must be exhausted."
"I have a feeling I won't be getting any sleep for awhile," Aria closed the door and walked back to the car seat.
"How are you feeling?" Pierce sat next to her.
"I'm hanging in there." She sighed. "I can't believe I ever married that man."
Pierce stayed silent and looked down.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Hey it's alright, I'm here if you want to talk." Pierce said and patted her back.
"Can you help me with something?" Aria looked at Pierce.
"Sure, what is it?" He perked up.
"Can you help carry the car seat to my room. I tried but, I'm just scared to do it by myself."
"Of course!" He stood up and looked at the car seat, "She's beautiful Aria. What's her name?"
"Viviana." She replied and smiled widely.
"Viviana," Pierce smiled and gently grabbed the car seat, walking slowly, careful not to wake her. Pierce gently walked up the stairs to Aria's room. Aria took her out of the car seat and carefully laid her in the crib. She put the baby cam and baby monitor on, making sure to leave her door open.
"Thank you so much," Aria said as they sat in the kitchen.
"My pleasure," Pierce smiled.
"Do you want anything to drink or anything?" She asked.
"Just a glass of water, please." Aria poured him a glass and handed it to him. "Thank you."
"How's Abbot Enterprises doing?" She took a seat.
"Pretty good, just closed a deal in New York. How's the whole owning a football team going." Pierce smirked.
"Good I guess??" Aria laughed. "It's making me money though."
"I bet," Pierce smiled.
An hour later, after long deep and funny conversations, Aria was walking Pierce out.
"Thank you so much for staying, it's been a rough couple of months. I enjoyed our talks," Aria said and smiled at the man before her.
"If you don't mind, I'd like more of those conversations," Pierce took his phone out and handed it to Aria for her to put her number in. Aria gladly did it and handed his phone back.
"I'm looking forward to seeing you more Mr. Abbot, without the competition of course." She joked.
"I make no promises," Pierce looked at her and laughed. "I'll see you soon, Ms. Newman." He went and hugged her.

"Goodnight Mr. Abbot," Aria grinned and closed the door.
Right when she did, her phone beeped. She looked and seen Jimmy's name pop up on the screen.
James Garoppolo (Buisness): On my way
It was almost 11 at night. She shook her head and then heard Viviana crying. This was going to be a longggggg night, she thought.
