Aria walked in her house after saying goodbye to Pierce. She tiptoed her way to her room, careful not to make any noise. Slowly opening the door to her room, she seen Jimmy laying down on her bed, asleep, with Viviana on his chest also fast asleep. Quickly changing and removing her makeup, Aria quietly picked up their daughter and set her in her crib.
"Hey," Jimmy's voice was raspy. This sent chills down Aria's spine while her stomach felt that weird annoying butterfly flutter.
"Sorry did I wake you?" Aria whispered.
"I just didn't feel Viv so I woke up," he let out a yawn. "I should get going though, so you can sleep."
For some really odd reason, she was disappointed at his words. Part of her didn't want him to leave. "Oh okay."
Jimmy went to stand up but fell back on the bed. "Fuck."
"What's wrong?" Aria came by his side.
"My knee," Jimmy groaned in pain. "It locked."
"Let me see," Aria said while he rolled up his sweatpants. "Jimmy it's swollen. I'll get you ice, just lean back."
"Ah okay." Jimmy said and scooted back on the bed.
Soon Aria returned with an ice pack and placed it on his knee. "Have you been doing physical therapy?"
Jimmy looked down and gave her a smile, hoping she'd fall for it. "Okay no. I forget to schedule an appointment. You used to do that for me..."
Aria rolled her eyes and sat on the edge of the bed. "I managed to be a business woman, cancer survivor, and a wife all at once and all you need to do is pick up your damn phone."
Jimmy laughed. Yeah he laughed. He missed this.. He missed Aria getting mad at him. He missed seeing her in her little business outfits. He missed the way she smelled which he thought was the perfect scent of pumpkin with a just a hint of vanilla. He missed being able to say he had a wife. Most of all, he missed coming home to her.
"Alexandra won't do it for you?" Aria's question snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Um, no she won't." He cleared his throat. "She's always busy with modeling, so."
Aria nodded and looked down. "Maybe I should have reminders in the diaper bag when you have Viv."
He smiled and shook his head, "You'll get me to go one way or another huh?"
"Hey it's either physical therapy or say goodbye to the season." She challenged.
"You always were right." Jimmy let out a sigh of defeat.
"I know." She smiled.
"How was the banquet?"
"It was good, I had fun but I always can't wait to come back to her." She nodded towards Viviana's crib.
"I know that feeling. She really is my whole world."
"Mine too." Aria whispered.
And there it was. Finally Jimmy seen it. All the hurt and pain he caused. This beautiful woman had been through hell and back. He'd put her through so much heartache. If someone did half the stuff he done to Aria, if someone even made Viviana cry, he would lose it. But the funny thing is, it took Viviana actually being here to realize the damage that had been done.
"Aria..." He grabbed her chin. "I'm so sorry." His voice was shaky, his eyes had soften when he looked at her. His big brown eyes were glossy.
"For what?.." She was confused.
