I got out of my car, once again meeting the pretty cherry blossoms towering above my head. I don't know what has gotten into me, but I felt like I should've visited since the cherry blossoms were in season. I took the bouquet from the front passenger seat and slowly sauntered inside, greeted by the smell of ashes and fresh lavenders.
"Well, here I am, the Hangu Shrine. It's been 2 years now, right?" I stated, finding Y/N's place. Eventually, I found and stood in front of it. Her shrine had her picture I would never get tired of seeing. She had that familiar smile that always graced her face, and those eyes that would've either stared you down, or bless you with kindness. I bowed, placing the flowers with the rest of the bouquets I got her 2 months ago.
"I hope you can hear me..."

Giggles of the children reverberated the air, making the aroma happy. Well, it was always happy up here. Up in heaven. It's been 2 years since my last death and I think it's coming out smoothly. Come to think of it: I don't know why I sacrificed my life for him. I just moved based on my instincts... which led me here. I don't regret it though, it's wonderful up here.
"Y/N-ssi!" A giggling child ran behind me, tugging my milky white dress in the process. I laughed, spreading my wings.
"Who's there? Don't take my little Yujin away from me!" I blended in, shaping a measly cloud above me into a shield. I saw a group of children chuckling, hiding behind several poofy clouds. I looked at Yujin and grinned.
-
"Woo! Come on, Y/N! Faster!" The child on my back chanted, making me go faster. I don't know how I got into this situation, but I do love children, mind you. I flapped my wings to get more air underneath it, being cautious not to drop Yujin while doing it. I squinted, realizing we're flying towards the golden gates.
"Yujin-ah, this is our stop." I said, coming to a halt. The children, who were previously chasing me, pouted. I chuckled, opening my arms so they could hug me. 1 ... 2 ... !
"Y/N~, when will you come play with us?" They nagged, crushing me with their arms and wings. I huffed for air, managing a grin for them.
"Soon, but not today." I assured them. They finally released me, giving me their casual toothy twinkles and dashed off, ready to play again. I sigh, "Whew! I don't think stamina is int heir vocabulary-"
"Y/N." A gruff female voice called for me. I turned around, wondering what it might be now. I froze, seeing a senior angel look at me with those lifeless eyes, "well, let's see... You have visitors in the Hangu Shrine just south of Korea." This caught my attention. You see, I don't normally get visitors at this time of the year. I adjusted my dress, my ears and eyes on her.
"How many?" I asked, ready to fly down to the earth. She checked her scroll, finding my name once more. Tapping it, she looked at me.
"Just one." With her saying that, I flew up the clouds, getting all the air possible, and sunk back down. I was met by the chilled galaxy, the twinkling stars winking at me. I didn't notice that though, I looked at the planet that was a few miles away from me: Earth. Heat began to warm my skin, a barrier of fire beginning to flicker. That's how angels visit Earth. I'm assuming the humans call it 'shooting star', I don't know.
"I'm so close." I murmured, gathering up all the speed I have so I would be able to withstand Earth's atmosphere. I closed my eyes, feeling myself pass the Earth's atmosphere...
"I hope you can hear me..." A voice said. What? I'm in the Hangu Shrine already?
"Yeah, I can hear you loud and clear." I beamed, opening my eyes. With a suit and all, he seemed to be gloomy to see me, "Awh, I forgot I was dead-"
"I just came to give you a new batch of flowers. I hope you liked them, since they're your favorites." He sadly snickered, shoving his hands into his pockets. I looked down, cackling (yes, cackling.) at his remark. I flew right next to him, admiring the flowers he bought for me, "Woah, it sure is cold in here.
"Yeah, sorry about that." I apologized, stopping my wings from flapping. I awkwardly stood in front of him and hugged him, making him feel my presence.
"I missed you a lot, Y/N." He mumbled, trying to warm himself up.
"Missed ya too, Mr. Park."
