I have managed to avoid the guy next door until today, I saw him again when I left for work. He tried to make conversation with me in the lift but I ignored him, I really couldn't be dealing with him today. The lift ended up stopping on the second floor so I got out and took the stairs. From the quick glance I took at him as the doors were closing, he looked kind of hurt. Oh well. That look of hurt quickly changed to a look of shock when I lifted my head a little too high and no longer had my hood covering me with its shadow.
I guess it's his go to avoid me now.
Even though I had managed to avoid him for so long, he kept sliding letters under my door. I still have them, I don't know why. I've got five total now, not that I'm counting or anything, but he probably won't send me any more now. I never responded to his offer of going out for drinks, although he did still go out on that Friday and every Friday since. I did feel a little sad that he had still gone without me but on his way past he usually slides another letter under my door.
After watching Netflix for a few hours, I had a shower and got ready for bed. I turned off my main light and made sure my fairy lights were on, what? A guy can have fairy lights too. I brought them a few weeks ago and they are wonderful for times like these. I then spent the next two hours trying to sleep.
