The rain that was a good drizzle started to really pour down on Elliott and Sparx as they walk onto the football field.
Thanks to the lightning flashing, the Heroes got a better look at the person in the field that had the yellow dots as eyes.
It's body was perched down but it's big arms and midsection were similar to Maverick's, especially it's small legs.
Putting on his hood, Elliott stop feet away from the monster. His mind wanted to punch one of his teeth of his mouth, but he had to bring him back in one piece.
"Maverick?"
"Hu-hun-" the Monster try to speak, looking at the person. Letting out a growl, it made a grin with it's sharp teeth. "Hungry."
"Oh great" the Hero said, letting out a sigh. A fight was about to break out and part of him wanted this.
"Elliott, what you gonna do?" Sparx asked.
"I don't know. But one things clear. I'm going to break his jaw."
"But Elliott..." the Dragonfly sighed as the two enemies rage war with each other.
Maverick launch up to pounce on his breakfast, but as he lower down, Elliott leap up and punch him in the lower jaw.
Falling down, the Uka Gang Boss didn't slow up as he continue to get his meal, jumping on him. He lick his tongue on the face of the Hero as his jaws were held from biting.
"Oh ew ew ew. Fluffing gross, dude" Elliott said, disgusted at his foe's action. Continuing holding the mouth of Maverick and being licked like a lollipop, he slam the jaw shut, the sharp teeth striking the tongue.
Wincing in pain, Maverick unleash a howl, swiping away at his Food with it's sharp claws.
The Hero dodge the attacks by bob and weaving as well as performing backflips. Once he saw an opening, he kick the Animal in the head.
"Maverick, what the fluff happen to you?!" Elliott questioned. But there was no answer as he begin running away.
Giving chase, the Hero wasn't quick like his Enemy as he was running away with it's hands and feet that didn't have boots on.
As he was running, the field thats the rain poured on start to become slippery, turning into mud. Slipping, Elliott fell and sliding to a stop.
Getting up, he didn't see Maverick anymore. He was gone.
Sparx flew over to his partner. "You okay?"
"Yeah. Except all the mud on my clothes, all is well" Elliott said, brushing the mud off his arms and hands.
"What were you thinking fighting him? We're supposed to help him!"
Elliott rolled his eyes like he wasn't going to hear it. "Sparx, if you had a chance to punch someone who gives you hell everyday, you'll do the same thing."
