Frank

Fuck. A huge pounding hit my forehead, a shitty  price to pay for having a good birthday yesterday.

This had to be one of the easiest hangovers ever though, it wasn't all that bad, let's face it. I know one thing that will definitely help it-coffee. I need some now.

I stammered out of bed and into the bus kitchen, urgh. I need coffee, now. I was fumbling in the cupboard when I heard a familiar voice speaking, softly the words, "Good morning, beautiful."

"Hi, and if I'm beautiful you must be something else." I replied. It was great being able to speak to Gerard again, I mean yeah we are a couple now, but its become much simpler. It's like a weight from my shoulders.

"I love it when you lie." he laughed.

"I do no such thing, thank you. Have you seen the coffee? My hangover is kicking me in the head." I groaned.

"Aw, baby," he yawned, then cuddled me while I rested my head on his shoulder, "Me and Mikey cleaned it out yesterday, we needed a caffeine boost, sorry!"

"Oh, I really need some. Damn." I felt like crying.

"Well, seen as though its all my fault, nearly, that there's no coffee. How about I take you on our first, sort-of, date? It will only be to Starbucks, but it will be less risky there as its natural for me to go, so there'll be less suspicion around us."

I froze, a date? Wow, shit, mum... "Y-Yeah." was all I managed to squeak out.

"Woo! Do you know how cute you are when you freeze up and get all shy? Fucking lots."

"No, no it's not. Its not fun either, it makes me feel vunerable for a start.Anyway, drive me there now fool."

"Um..." He giggled awkwardly and pointed at my crotch. I looked down, oh. I was only wearing underwear.

"I'll go get changed then, shall I?" I laughed.

"Thanks," I announced as Gerard fumbled over with my vente 'Caramel Brûlée Latte' and my 'Veggie&Monterey Jack Artisian Breakfast Sandwich' he knew me well. Well considering that the breakfast sandwich was the only vegetarian option, I guess it wasn't hard to decipher.

I took a deep, long sip of my latte, then let out a relaxed sigh.

"Good then?" Gerard asked, smiling ear-to-ear.

"Obviously- its coffee. But, if you meant 'Is it helping your hangover?' Then yes, yes it is, its working wonders."

"Oh, good!"

"It's great." I giggled.

"So, what you got planned today then?"

"You mean other than the concert we have?"

"Duh."

"Oh," I blushed,"nothing really, I was just gona hang with the guys, if you want to join me?"

"I'm fine with us doing that, Honey."

Oh my god. That is way too cheesy. I love it.

"Cheesy fucker." I chortled.

"You enjoy it!" he threw back at me.

"How?"

"I read you like a book."

"Oh, right."

I'd finished off my latte and was now speaking in between bites of my sandwich, Gerard seemed to find it amusing. He was on his second mocha- he certainly loved his coffee, let's put it that way.

"You good to go soon?" He asked after seeing me bite trough three quarters of my sandwich.

"Yeah, soon." I replied, savouring the flavours.

He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek softly. Wow. He must be some sort of God, honestly- his kisses, no matter when or where, are the best, ever.

I turned my head in the direction of his lips so that his connected with mine, but he pulled away pretty soon, teasing me.

"Oi, fucking kiss me, now." I said in a firm tone.

"No, not if your commanding me about like you own me." he giggled.

THE FRUSTRATION.
