...
Mmm...
...huh..?
Very slowly, both of my closed eyelids opened as it dawned my sight away from pure blackness. And when I did, I saw myself lying down on a soft, dull bed. Was I sleeping...? I guess that appears to be the case...
In this position, all I could see is the dusty ceiling made of oak wood and a few slight cracks on it. That and a few hints of smoke emerging from my right. Upon glancing at the origin point of the clear smoke in the air, I saw a circular window slightly open. There were also closets and cabinets jampacked with several kinds of stuff like dirty linens, a jar of greenish juice, a golden telescope, a doorknob, and many more. Despite the many kinds of stuff that could've made me intrigued, my curiosity was still dead set on the open, curtainless window.

My head... It feels so heavy and...empty.
As I ponder about the sudden sting in my head, I failed to notice the wooden door that had opened. I didn't hear its creak nor the sound of the steps of the person who entered.
"Oh! You're awake!" a child with long, very messy blonde hair with long sharp ears pointing diagonally downwards greeted me with a wide smile. This kid is about as tall as me.
I gazed at this child, not knowing anything about them. Though they do kind of look familiar, I am still completely clueless about this person.
Instead, I just observed this person's physique and clothing: they were wearing long green robes and underneath is a long-sleeved frilly white top, skinny old brown pants with rough, tattered ends, a corset belt with two, thinner straps of belt binding it to the person's waist, two worn-out satchels hanging on the belt, and as for the boots... Actually, this person is also barefooted, like me.
"You must have a lot of questions again," she said to me with an unmotivated pout. "Don't be afraid. I'm no foe of yours, I assure you."
I wasn't sure what this person meant, but...
