Derrick's POV

"Yes, that's perfect. Thank you," I commented as I got off the phone with the manager of Trampoline Palace. I rented out the biggest party room for everyone to have a little fun. I felt like everyone needed a chill day after working so hard planning a wedding. 'I want this to be perfect' I thought as I got a call from Seth. 'Seth? I wonder what he needs' I wondered as I picked up. "Jake passed out so we are taking him to your appointment," he blurted before I could even begin to say hello. "Why- you know what I don't want to know," I laughed grabbing my keys and took my motorbike to our shared apartment.

My throat burned as I controlled my laughter when I saw a dazed Jake being held up by Azrael. He looked like someone had knocked him out, woke him up, knocked him out again, and he's just now waking up. "Damn babe, you good?" I chuckled a little as I lifted his head to look at his face. "Oh pretty puppy," he slurred putting me. "I might have gone a bit overboard on a surprise and he fainted," explained Azrael giving me a cheeky smile. I choked back a laugh as I got a water bottle and squeezed it sending water into Jake's face. "Fuck! Ok ok, I'm up," he panicked standing on his own and shaking water from his face.

'He looks hot with wet fur,' I silently commented before tossing him a spare shirt and helmet. "Hurry up and get dressed weirdo everyone is already on their way to Atmosphere," I giggle. Atmosphere was the biggest indoor trampoline park in StarDale. The reputation of the place was out of this world. "Oh yeah ok," he changed shirts before putting on my spare helmet. After hugging Azrael and Seth goodbye, we went to the park. When Jake and I pulled up next to the other gang bikes, I caught a small glimpse of what I thought was my mom.

I shrugged it off and headed up into the rented party room. The mix of laughter,  joyful screams, and bright smiles were the small things that warmed the coldest of nights. Dragging Jake in with me, I joined in on the fun. An hour later, we had started a game. A game of bachelor dodgeball. Bachelor dodgeball was a game where each groom picked a team and they went against each other. The only thing that made it different was the fact that the losing team had to wear their underwear for 3 days. With teams chosen the battle begun.

If you weren't paying attention to what was happening, all you could see were fast-moving blurs and flying balls. I was sharp and small. Thanks to that, I easily avoided being hit. Jake, on the other hand, had quick reflexes and great aim. (Heh~ yeah Derrick~ We know~) He made quick work of fastballs and opening. Before anyone could think about it, Jake and myself were the only ones left standing. "Damn, looks like I'll have to take out my husband," he snickered tossing a ball in the air.

I only smirked as I lifted off my t-shirt, turned around, bent over, and lifted my tail. "You'll have to hit me first, Daddy," I teased as we both decided to unlock our abilities and power up. "Derrick! Sweetpea," I heard a way too familiar voice yell. "Mom?" I questioned stepping down from the trampolines. Jake told everyone to have fun as he walked with me. "Hey, Derrick! Hey Jake," she grinned looking to be holding the hand of someone else. "Hey momma," I kissed her cheek getting a peek at a fox wolf hybrid that was behind her. "Hey mother-in-law," Jake hugged mom and kissed her cheek.

Jake was always my mom's favorite wolf outside the family and momma Jade. "Good to see you two are still as childish as you were in high school," she shook her head giving her perfect smile. "Good to see you still as fit as ever," me and Jake said at the same time laughing after knowing my mother pushing 50. All three of us sat and talked to each other for also an hour making jokes and catching up. "Derrick, I do want you to meet someone. This is your haft sister on your father's side. Her name is Mint."

I was truly and utterly dumbfounded. 'All this time and no one told me I had a damn sister?!' I screamed as I stared at the hybrid that was told to be my sister. "H-hi Derrick. I'm Mint. I-it's great to finally meet you, big brother," she shyly offered her hand. 'BIG BROTHER!?!?' I worried. I didn't know whether to be happy that I had a sister or extremely cautious due to her relations to the man that was willing to kill his son.
