05.PROMPT : it was another one of your fights and you don't know how much you could take of it anymore.
'Are you fucking serious? You really think that lowly of me?' You screamed at him, who was currently grabbing whatever he could find and slamming it down at the ground. 'Well I don't know what to think about you anymore. I loved you and this is how you go and treat me?'
All of this started a while back when you wanted to hang out with one of your old friends from high school. It was an innocent get together at a restaurant, nothing bad about it until the media came. They created multiple rumors about you, how you cheated on ruel with one of your classmates, or how you only used him for money. Eventually ruel started to rethink your whole relationship and took the many flaws you guys faced and turned them against you.
'Remember when you got all handsy with that one guy at the bar?' He yelled back at you, throwing his hands up in the air. 'Are you fucking kidding me right now, he was one of my oldest friends, you fucking know him for gods sake!' You screamed back, inching closer to him as you pointed straight at his chest while tears began to form. All ruel could do was scoff, not believing any of the words that came out of your mouth.
'Yeah, I guess we're even.' He mumbled as he combed through his hair. You knitted your eyebrows together trying to put the pieces together of what he's trying to say? 'What does that even mean?' You blurted out, crossing your arms across your chest. Ruel walked towards the door, grabbing the knob before looking back at you. 'Let's just say, I prefer her.' He hissed at you before walking out.
At this point you couldn't feel your legs anymore, falling down onto the cold floor. You sobbed for what seemed like hours. The room was cold and a mess around you, you wiped the tears off your cheeks before getting up. You looked around seeing all the decorations you both picked together broken in pieces. You walked towards something on the ground that was upside down. You turned it around and was the picture of you and him on one of your cheesy dates. The frame was completely shattered only leaving the pictures almost exposed.
You didn't wanna stay in your shared apartment tonight. You took the picture out of its frame before placing it back on the stand it was originally on. Grabbing a jacket, keys and your phone you decided to head out for the night, not knowing where you're gonna go but it wasn't gonna be here.
Ruel on the other hand was back at his studio, crying into his hands. Sylvie was with him, rubbing circles on his back as she tried her best to calm him down. 'I don't even know why I said that.' He sobbed out, blaming himself for the whole thing. 'Ruel that was really fucked up, even if there wasn't even another girl.' She admitted to him, before sitting back on the studio couch. 'I mean you have to apologize to her, you know that right?' Ruel nodded as answer before heading out towards his car. He told his sister goodbye before climbing in and sighing back. All these questions in his head but no even a single answer to them.
