PROMPT: starting your new chapter in life with ruel.

You sighed as you picked up the heavy box from the back of the white u-haul truck. The heavy box weighed you down quite bit but it wouldn't stop you from getting up towards your apartment that was on the second floor. 'Hey, do you need help?' You heard your boyfriend, ruel, say. You shook your head and watched him disappear back into the place.

The sun had just set when you both finished getting all the boxes inside your shared place. The apartment you both picked out was one of the biggest you've seen, one of the reasons you picked it. Ruel would get a special room to continue with his music while being at home. While you get another extra room to have space for you to place all the clothes you have.

For past couple of hours, you both started to set everything together placing the lamps on the stands, hanging all the plants you have, and storing everything into a cabinet. By the time you almost finished, you were absolutely tired. Laying down on the wooden floor you looked up at the ceiling letting your heart beat go back to normal.

Ruel noticed you lay down in the middle of the living room floor, and quietly made his way next to you. Looking back at you and the ceiling, he wondered what you were thinking of. 'I can't believe we actually are living together.' You spoke up, almost like you were reading his mind. Ruel smiled to himself remembering the promise you both made when you were younger.

'I mean you had no other option, you already said that I'd be the only person you'd get a house with so we could play 'house' all the time when we were younger.' He said with a small laugh, looking back at you. You smiled remembering how much you enjoyed playing with him when you were 6, so much you never wanted it to end. Your stomach grumbled loudly, interrupting the sweet moment you guys had.

'Looks like your hungry. Let's go find something.' Ruel suggested and grabbed onto both of your hands, pulling you up. You both made your way towards the empty kitchen, opening the cabinets. And to your luck the only thing in there were ramen noodles. 'My check comes in tomorrow further more I'm broke, I guess this'll do for now.' He said as he grabbed two packets and prepared them.

You took a seat onto one of the island chairs and watched ruel heat up the instant meal. I guess playing house wont be so bad after all...
