Farkle crazy

I wake up to my phone blowing up with text and Lucas's head laying on my chest. I grab my phone and it's Farkle.

F- are you crazy
F- Why is Lucas here
F- Did you not just break up with him last night?

And then text just keep going on and on. I power off my phone and I go back to sleep. Less then five minutes after I close my eyes Farkle busts into my room scaring both me and Lucas. "Get out." I say while throwing a pillow at the door. I get up and lock the door then I got back to sleep. I'm so mad. Me and Lucas were in the perfect snuggling position and Farkle ruined it. Lucas lays his head back on my chest gently then lifts his head and says "is this okay?" I nod and he lays his head back down. We sit like this for a while. Neither of us go back to sleep. I say softly "what's your favorite color? I think it either blue or green but I'm not sure." "Green." "But what color do you like to wear more." "Blue." Lucas says "What's your favorite color?" "Yellow." He flips his head over so he can look at me. "I like to wear red."

After talking about our favorite things for a while we both get up and get ready for the day. Me and Lucas agreed to go Christmas shopping together. "Should I get your mom and sister a Christmas gift. I know that I'm not visiting them but you're buying my family gifts so I feel the need to return the favor." "If you want you don't have to." I pause and I think "do you mind if I give your mom a gift." "You can but I'm not." Now I'm conflicted. I want to make a good impression but I also don't want Lucas to feel uncomfortable or for me to buy Lucas's mom something and let her think she can come to me asking for money. "I'll think about it then." "We never talked about what we were getting each other. What do you want?" I shrug. "I mean I don't really know what I want. What do you want?" "How about we get each other joke gifts. Something we could laugh at. Something that has no real value." I nod my head. "I'm going to go take a shower. Do you want to meet back here in 30." He nods and makes his way out my room. I walk him to the door and we hug as we say goodbye.

I turn around and there is a Farkle standing in front of my face. "Get out of my face. I don't want to hear it. RILEYYY!!!!" Riley runs down the stairs and I say "Farkle is bothering me please show him some attention."

I'm in the shower and I can't even enjoy my music because someone is blowing up my phone. I'm guessing it's Farkle. I get out the shower and I pick out a cool outfit. A red tank top and some straight leg Levi's that are baggy and low rise. I then put on my air forces and I walk into the kitchen. I make myself matcha and open toast PB and J. I eat my toast as Farkle badgers me about how I shouldn't be with Lucas. EVery time he pauses I just say "yes." I hear Lucas's car roll up and I leave as quick as possible.

"Please drive. Farkle won't shut up." Lucas laughs while driving to the mall. I look through the glove compartment for any sunglasses. I find some dad glasses and I laugh. I'm not wearing these.

We walk out holding hands. "Where are we going first?" "We should split since we are buying gift for each other." "Okay do you want to meet back here in hour?" He smiles and says "ok it sounds like a plan."

I stop at the Apple store to get Lucas's sister a new phone. Her camera doesn't work and she's just the sweetest person ever. I then stop by the art store to get a canvas for Lucas's present. I go to an antique shop and I get my mom a set of pearl earrings. She always talks about how her mother used to have a beautiful pearl necklace that she wanted but her mother passed away and she couldn't find it so I got her the next best thing. And for Shawn. I get him a new camera.

I meet Lucas back at the spot. I hug him as soon as I see him. Lucas wraps his arms around me and says "are you alright?" I take a deep breath "yeah." We walk around a bit and Lucas says "are you hungry?" "A little." We go to chipotle because Lucas supports my taco addiction.

"Gross maya, close your mouth." "No, you can enjoy the food better when your mouth is open." I open my mouth wider and I start making chewing noises. Lucas's face gets serious and raises his eyebrows and says "stop." I laugh seeing him so mad. he wipes the crumbs off my face. I pack up the food I didn't finish and I stand up and I reach my hand out. "More shopping?" I nod. He holds my hand and we walk out. "We need to pick out ugly Christmas sweaters and I need to get presents for my pets." 

We go to target and now Lucas is on his way back to my place. We get to the entrance and I say "you coming?" "Sure but I can only stay for a bit."

We get bored watching tv and we start playing the game again. "Okay next question. What dating advice would you give your younger self?" Lucas looks like he's going to be thinking for a while so I say "to not be so annoying." While laughing. Lucas says "mine would be to not be so abrasive." "Don't worry you're not." I say while trying to pick up the next card "do you think I was popular in high school? Explain." Lucas looks into my eyes and says yes. "I actually wouldn't know. I was too busy trying to find anything to get me high. And if I was I was too high to remember it. But I did start getting popular off of YouTube before I dropped out but that doesn't count." The room goes silent. "Well my high school experience wasn't that good either. I was bullied a lot and I didn't go through puberty until senior year." I laugh thinking about a prepubescent Lucas. I hated those kids in high school. "What time is it?" Lucas says "seven." He gets up and starts to put on his shoes. "I have to go but have a Goodnight Maya." I hug him and I say "we are leaving Monday and you need to meet me here at one." He nods then leaves.
