Therefore, as soon as Blake dropped off my stuff, saying an official goodbye to me on behalf of himself and Brennan, the guys discharged me, Luke and I went through a butt ton of papers with Chloe.Luke promised to complete a necessary test online, and then it would all be official and I would have the choice to change my last name or not.
Which, I would.
The guys brought me to their house, helping me carry my stuff into what was now officially my bedroom.
"Okay pretty girl." Luke spoke with a smile.
"Let's get to decorating."
For the first time in my life, I had a say in what my bedroom looked like.
I stuck with aesthetically pleasing decorations.
Kept the walls white, did grey accents with little plants and a few Polaroid pictures the guys and I had taken today.
"We can go buy more tomorrow, I just know you're tired-" "I don't need more" I smiled to Luke.
He wrinkled his nose lightly.
"You may not think you need more, but I'm getting you more. I'm about to spoil the fuck out of you and you can't do anything about it." He smiled to me, making me smile lightly.
"I just don't want you to spend a lot of money on me, because adoption is a lot and I know that just happened-" "Mila." He stopped me quickly.
I glanced to him, seeing him smiling as he leaned against the wall
"No one in your entire lifetime has ever spoiled you," he spoke facts.
"Let me spoil you, I have the money and desire to, so let me do it."
What was I supposed to say to that?
So the next day, Luke and I went shopping.
It consisted of me wanting small, cheaper things and Luke grabbing all of the big, expensive things.
"This rug would look good." He spoke, touching a hundred dollar rug, making me laugh lightly.
"We can find a cheaper rug-" "I saw your eyes hit this one when we walked in, we're getting it."
Two hours later, we both had too many bags and I was beyond over shopping.
"I feel bad" I spoke as we walked to his car together.
"Why?" He spoke quickly, in a high pitch voice
"Because this is expensive stuff and I can't do anything to like pay you back-" "Mila, I'm not doing this to get something out of you." He spoke firmly.
"I'm trying to give you the life of a teenage girl that you've never had, and we aren't done yet, one more stop."
"Absolutely not" I spoke as Luke spoke to a sales man at the Apple store, looking at a desktop Mac, which was over a thousand dollars.
He grinned as he clicked a few apps on the screen, checking it out.
"Luke- this is too much." I spoke, pulling his arm lightly.
"You're an online student and you love being online." He pointed out the obvious.
"You need a new computer, this is the most reliable computer." He spoke to me.
"Luke, can you not-" "we'll take it" he smiled.
I stared to him as the salesman walked away, going to get it.
"I really don't want you to spend this much money on me-" "Mila, I just got a big raise and I just got paid." He spoke with a smile .
"You better get used to this, because it's never going to end."
