The week went by faster than the two expected. Everything went back to normal again and they spent all the time they had together. Nothing more happened after the night Minghao asked Junhui to be his prom date. They just acted as friends, with a little more of course.. since they now both knew they liked the other. 

The group that forced Minghao to stop hanging out with Junhui got reported to the police and after it all came out, they also got suspended from their school. So lucky for them, they didn't had to worry about that anymore. 

Now, finally the moment came where they had to go to prom. School ended a few hours earlier so everyone could get ready for what's said, the most beautiful night of your life. And everyone was more than ready! 

The whole school looked forwards to prom ever since the beginning of the year, especially since the last two weeks when everyone started counting days. Junhui and Minghao also were overly excited to go, although they both had to admit that they were pretty nervous to show themselves openly together. Of course everyone already knew that they hung around each other the whole time. But they never went on a date before and no one ever saw them being so openly together before. 

But they couldn't be more ready, especially because they both felt safe when they were with one another. And besides that, they were going together with Mingyu and Wonwoo who were also going as a couple. Mingyu's parents took care of a limousine so that they could go with the four of them.

Right now, Junhui looked at himself in the mirror in his bedroom, making sure everything was perfect. He was wearing a plain white suit with a black tie. And he had to admit, he was quite proud of how he looked. Minghao hadn't seen his suit yet, and otherwise, so he really hoped Minghao would like it. He also was really curious about how Minghao was dressed. Not that it mattered anyways, because even if he went in his pajama everyone would shoot heart eyes at him. 

For one last time he smoothed his suit with his hands and with a deep breath he opened the door of his bedroom, walking to their living room. Still no sign of Minghao, who was probably still in his room, changing into his own suit. 

Junhui shot a look to their clock and saw it was a quarter to eight. Prom would start at eight, but of course they wanted to be a little later. Not too late, but fashionable late. Yes, of course Minghao and Mingyu always made an entrance because they were really popular. It was a little cliche but Junhui was totally okay with it. Of course he was nervous because he knew they would get stared at by everyone if they walked in when almost everyone was already there. But it was worth it for Minghao. 

Suddenly he heard the sound of a door and he turned around. His jaw dropped slightly and everything around him seemed to fade away. Right in front of him stood Minghao in a jet black suit matched with a fiery red tie. His hair was pulled back with gel, what revealed his forehead. And god, he looked so handsome.. 

Junhui felt like he was melting as he just kept staring at Minghao's beauty. 

"Stop staring at me will you.." Minghao put his hands in the pockets of his trousers and he looked to the tips of his shimmering black shoes. But of course, that didn't stop Junhui from staring at him. It only made him stare more because for some reason the movement made him even more good-looking. 

"Of course I can't! Do you have any idea how good you are looking right now?" He made a high pitched sounds and acted as if he wiped sweat off his forehead, showing him how handsome he was. 

Minghao looked up, a little frowning. "Can you look at yourself? Like god, you look so handsome in white." Immediately his ears got even more red after he realized he said that out loud, but Junhui absolutely fell harder for him than he already did. How could he look so handsome and yet be so under confident? "Anyways.. do you know when Mingyu and Wonwoo will be here?" 

"I have no idea, maybe we should get downstairs and wait for them outside." Junhui suggested, pointing at the door. 

"Sounds like a plan! Let's go." Minghao wiped his hands over his chest one more time, making sure there were no more wrinkles. And without trying to get even more shy he walked over to Junhui, the elder's heart skipping a beat when he realized how much more handsome he was up close. Minghao innocently looked up to him and showed him a gummy smile. 

Then the two walked outside their apartment, walking down the stairs. 

"You know.. I have to admit that I'm pretty nervous." Minghao suddenly said. Junhui looked aside, seeing the worried look on his face. He understood his feelings, since he was pretty stressed out himself too. 

"Hey don't be, I'm right here remember. And we're going together with another couple. I'm sure we're going to have an amazing night. Just try to ignore everyone who talk shit about us." Junhui said, trying his hardest to calm him down at least a little. 

Minghao didn't look back, but the elder felt how he softly grabbed his hand and squeezed it a little.  "Are you sure Jun?" In which the elder only chuckled, finally receiving a look from Minghao. "Of course I'm sure. What I said, no matter what happens, I'll be right here." 

The orange light of the sun that was setting, beamed upon their faces the moment they walked outside. It wasn't a very busy street, but busy enough to get stares for the fact that they were dressed up way too neatly around this time of the day, just waiting on the pavement. 

"How about you? Are you nervous?" 

Junhui sighed a little. He hated that he had to admit that he actually was. "To be honest.. I'm terrified. I hate facing things. But I know that I'm going with you so I'm totally fine with anything right now. Because god, look at you.." And again he let his eyes roam all over Minghao shamelessly, because how couldn't he? 

But it quickly got interrupted after they heard a loud honk that came into their direction. What, of course, pulled even more attention from the people that were just casually walking by. They couldn't care less, because they both knew that they could do anything, as long as they were together. 

After Junhui spotted the limousine driving over to them, still afar, he shifted his gaze to Minghao again. And before he could even look him in the eyes again, something happened what Junhui would've never thought of. It was so unexpected, it left him totally speechless. 

A very soft pair of lips got gently pressed against his cheek. Just for a quick second, before an all blushy Minghao let go again. If it wasn't for the limousine that was already pulling their brakes, Junhui would've grabbed Minghao by his waist and kissed his lips. Because that was the moment he was more irresistible than ever. But he couldn't. He just had to wait a little longer for that. 

"Thank you Junhui.. let's just do this together. I'm very sure we will have an amazing night." 

"Y-yes.. I- eh I'm very sure of that?" Junhui said, not paying attention to the way he spoke, because everything seemed so unrealistic, just like a dream. He moved his hand up to his cheek and he touched the spot Minghao just pressed his lips on, slightly caressing it with the tips of his fingers. 

But before more could happen, the black limousine pulled over and the doors got opened by the very cheerful Mingyu and Wonwoo. "WHOOOOO! If that ain't my two favorite gays!" Mingyu yelled, gesturing the two to come in and sit down. 

"Oh zip it, you tree." Minghao sarcastically said as he rolled his eyes and got into the car. Junhui was still too flustered by the moment and just awkwardly said a quick 'hi' as he got in the car and sat next to Minghao, right infront of the couple. But of course, he shook it off, not wanting to be too obviously flustered. 

"Now let's gooooo! We got a party to crash!" Mingyu enthusiastically said, in what Wonwoo slabbed his upper arm. "Yah! We're not gonna crash prom!" 

And so the limousine pulled up, with 4 overly excited teenagers in the back. On their way to prom.
