Chapter 14

Normal POV:

At the same time when Hearts and Fu are talking, Ecca secretly breaks in the place where Fu locked Oren and the others.

"Ecca!" Lagss is the first to notice Ecca outside the door.

"Hey guys..." she giggles to her allies. "Psst, keep your voice down and we can go... Hearts is drawing Fu's attention. But we don't have much time, so hurry up!"

"I know you two would save us!" Kamin laughs happily at her friend, hugging her. Ecca puts her index finger on her lips and tells her to be quiet.

"I know Hearts is trying hard to drive that scientist's attention, but there's still digital cameras around here somewhere. So keep quiet and stay sharp!"

"We know, we are not stupid, mortal." Zamasu rolls his eyes.

"Whatever." She doesn't have time to argue with the self-righteous immortal. So she simply ignore him.

The place don't even have gurads, so it's very easy to sneak out. After sneaking out, she quickly helps them to break the device that locks their power. After all, Ecca is a brilliant scientist, she is fairly good at these technological stuff.

"Finally free! Thanks to Ecca and Hearts!" Oren laughs and jumps in the air, flying freely.

"Let's head back. I don't know if Fu put any guards around." Ecca says, the others nod.

The float in the air and heads towards their spaceship.

Fu and Hearts are in the lab. The words from Hearts hurt him so badly. He smirks at the demon scientist.

"Give up, Fu. You don't stand a chance." Hearts says, "and looks like they've got away by now."

"What?" He asks in shock, checks the computer Immediately. And all he can see is an empty room. All the people he captured to pick up a fight is gone.

Anger fills his mind. He pulls out his sword and is about to attack Hearts. But the man is already gone.

"Dang it!" He exclaims, punching a computer screen with his fist to release his anger.

Suddenly he notices a small glass container on the edge of his table. It's a blood sample, and it's no any ordinary blood sample.

It's Ecca's blood sample. The drip of blood she gave him back in the prison planet. He keeps it til now.

The blood of her's is so precious. Not just because of the results of the investigation of this drop of blood-- he finds that she's a Buraddo Demon. They are both demons. That makes his heart dances happily. Because that makes them more close.

Also because he feels like she is by his side when he sees that. And he wants her there, right next to him.

He wants to tell her about this, have her to do the experiments and play around with him again.

"I have to tell her..." Fu rubs the dust away from the glass container of her blood gently. He smirks and teleports to the core area, where Hearts and his ally stays.
