Chapter 38

Normal POV:

Kodaika locks his eyes on Ecca's parents. He raises his hands and a purple energy ball forms on his palm, aiming to the couple demon. Ecca immediately notices what he want to do.

"No! Don't!" Ecca yells and she wants knock the attack away. But it's just too late. It already hit her parents. The attack splits into two thin ki attacks and passes through her parent's heart. They cough up blood and kneel down in pain.

"MUM! DAD!" Ecca shouts and runs to her parents. They are slowly dying... again. This time, they die in front of their dear daughter. Kodaika wonders if that can make Ecca achieve the Ultra Muerte again. Ecca is now holding her parents' body in her arms, hoping that she can save them with her blood healing ability.

But it never worked to deep wounds. Her blood therapy only works on small wounds. She can't save her parents. "Why... just why I need to see this again...?" Ecca stares at Kodaika, frustrated. He knows Ecca is at the anger point. He smirks and gives her a counter, "Next up, your best friends..." He squeezes Zamasu and Houaida's neck with all the strength he got.

"Stop it..." Ecca groans. That feeling of anger has come back. The power surpassing both her and Vampire Ecca boils in her body. She stares at Kodaika. Her body is shaking. She looks around but all she can see is her parents' blood and their dead body. She kneels down and screams in agony.

Her body is  again wrapped with the black coloured aura mixed with a red, purple colour... Her hair turns sliver, lightnings hits the area around her. Shiny lights surrounds her aura. Those pretty red eyes of hers are like burning fire, sparkling shiny lights and flames...

An unknown memory hacked into her mind. She cannot see anything but darkness there. "We are waiting for you." Ecca can hear the familiar voice. "Vampire..." Ecca mumbles. She can hear giggles from Vampire Ecca.

A dim light glows in the area. Ecca can see a girl that looks exactly the same with her is standing in front of her. She almost mistook that she is standing in front of a mirror. But the biggest difference is that Vampire Ecca's face is cold and nearly emotionless. She walks to Vampire Ecca. This is the first time she sees the Vampire.

"We need to control the power of Ultra Muerte, master it. And they told me the only way is to merge us..." Vampire Ecca says in a not-so-satisfied face. Ecca is a bit confused. *They? Who are they?* Ecca looks around, then two Buraddo Demons show up. Ecca covers her mouth in shock when she sees them, nearly cried.

They are Ecca's parents.They smiles gently at their daughter.

"Mum! Dad!" Ecca rushes into them and they hugged Ecca. Ecca sobs loudly in their arms. She missed her parents so much. Kodaika reborn them, but she can't have a proper talk with them. Now she finally have a chance to enjoy the family time she needs so badly...

"I miss you mum..." Ecca hugs her mother so tightly. She is afraid that she would lose her parents again. Her mother rubs her hair gently. "I miss you too my girl..." She whispers in the demon girl's ears. Ecca wipes her tears away and smiles happily.

"Look, our girl has grown up!" Her father laughs. Ecca smirks and hugs her father. "Ahem..." Ecca suddenly hears Vampire cough a little to draw their attention.

"Oh yes... I almost forget our important things to tell you two..." Ecca's father smiles. Ecca is puzzled. *so they know how to merge us? Is that real?* Ecca feels the place is getting hotter and hotter. "What's going on with this place? It's getting... hotter."
