Chapter 19

Hearts POV:

I am originally fighting side-by-side with Zamasu and a Saiyan called Vegeta against Dabura. That demon... he seems to be resurrected by someone. And now he even gets the power of Demon God!

As I fight, my mind comes across with different kinds of possibilities of the thing happening in front of me. This timing... it could be possible that it isn't a coincidence. But then why does he need to come this time, when we are starting our plan?

I glares at Zamasu, taking a look at his thoughts. He's thinking just the same as I am-- wondering what is Dabura's purpose.

Dabura is strong, as a Demon God. But as I can read minds, it's not difficult for me to dodge his attacks. And also there's three of us against him. So of course, we're wining at the moment.

Suddenly, I can sense danger from Ecca. I quickly search her while I am fighting Dabura. There she is, surrounded by thousands of demon soldiers and millions of ki blasts. I frowns, she and her Saiyan friend will get knocked down eventually if someone don't do something!

So, I've made up my mind to take actions immediately. I don't want her to be hurt. Not a single bit. Why? Maybe because I love her so much and anyone who dares to hurt her will only die the most painful death!

Normal POV:

Ecca and Houaida are trying very hard to dodge the nonstop attacks. But it's not an easy task to be done.

"We're running out of places to hide! The attacks are getting more and more!" Houaida looks around, firing blasts at the same time to knock off some soldiers.

"Ready... aim... FIRE!!!" The leader of the soldiers shours at his army and the soldiers Fires all the blasts towards the two girls.

Ecca squeezed her eyes shut, ready to make a ki shield to protect Houaida and herself. It's not a very useful and powerful ability but at least they won't die in the attack.

"Ecca, grab my hand!"

Suddenly, she hears a calming, familiar voice and then she feels a warm, big hand grabbing hers. Then in the next moment, she finds herself and Houaida are not in the air, surrounded by thousands of soldiers anymore.

"What happ-- Hearts!" Ecca exclaims when she sees Hearts stands next to her, smiling. "You saved us! Thanks!" She giggles to her lover.

"I don't want you to be in danger." He saays in  serious face. At the same time, Houaida walks over.

"It's you?!" Houaida finds Hearts next to Ecca, "you saved us? Why?"

It's not difficult to see that Houaida doesn't trust Hearts. After all, he is the reason why she and the other fighters are here. She raises her hands and prepares to fight. Hearts reads her mind, then he simply smirks and shrugs innocently.

"Wait!" Ecca stops her friend, "I trust him. He won't hurt us." She says firmly. Houaida frowns.

"Why? You know him before?" Houaida asks, Ecca nods.
