Eldamar Norrar was born in the year 200 of the First Era in the city of Carnimar, in Arramard, in the north of Helrriard.
In those days, the Helimard civilization was prosperous.
It was the time of King Marenar II Catarr of Arramard, and the beauty of the Golden Castle of Nortamar was stunning.
Son of farmers, Eldamar's childhood was surrounded by adventures, and his greatest hobby was hunting in the forests, especially at the Tarharr Forest, where he went with a company, sometimes led by Narmor, father of Darmor, one of his friends.
On one of his outings, when he was just a child, he ventured alone into the forest and had the misfortune of being attacked by a wild wolf, whom he had to kill to save his life.
Narmor and company came when the fight was over, and returned to Carnimar quickly.
This experience made Eldamar to develop a great empathy towards animals, and he began to detach himself from hunting.
It was the first time he had killed, and the feeling he had, it could never be forgotten.
He and his friends ended up founding the Kinship of Strongs, which stood out for its great respect for nature.
Years passed.
Already in year 220, Eldamar left the farm and dedicated himself to the blacksmithing, and began to train in the art of the sword.
His long hair and abundant beard marked his deep eyes, where the piety he felt for animals could be glimpsed after the unfortunate experience in Tarharr.
Coming from the city of Ostemar, the Kinship of Hunters, led by Martonar Lagodar, had a meeting with the Kinship of the Strongs of Eldamar in Tarharr.
There, Eldamar saved a falcon from being hunted by said leader, interposing between them.
Although they seemed enemies at the time, with the passing of time and the events to come, Martonar would end up being a very important person in Eldamar's life.
In year 232 the Ruin of Helrriard occurred.
Minhierr Helcar, the Lord of the Emptiness, went to his world to conquer it, and the Helimard were nearly extinct.
The golden period ended, and King Marenar II Catarr of Arramard was tortured and hanged in the throne room of the Golden Castle, which from then on would be the dwelling place of the being in its corporeal form.
The Kinship of the Strongs fought valiantly at Carnimar against the Helimard Corrupts, and managed to flee to the south.
Amidst the commotion of the battle, Eldamar realized that Martonar was among the surviving Helimard. He assumed that she had lost all his comrades in the Battle of the Three Days, and thus she joined the company of the Strongs and many other Helimard who saw Eldamar as the last ray of hope for survival.
Eldamar proposed to go to Kurgotal, in Herramard, to find the wonderful tree of which they had heard stories in the past. Legends said that this tree could never be destroyed, so if it remained alive, the Helimard's morale would remain.
Crossing through the Tarharr Forest, they were ambushed, and the great Narmor fell. His body always rested in the forest, and everyone mourned his loss.
When they reached the Herramard region, they found only ruin.
Formerly, this place was the most prosperous in Helrriard, with the most beautiful nature.
But now it was mournful and gloomy, and the Nameless inhabited it. Many were the Helimard who died from the terrible nightmares caused by these dark beings.
After a long time, they finally reached the great tree, the Replica of Helrriard, called Prensar, only to discover that it had been completely corrupted.
The surviving Helimard momentarily lost hope, but soon Eldamar encouraged them to continue the path, and renewed, they continued their journey to the south.
When they reached the Morramard region, they were ambushed, but they managed to flee from the battle.
Finally, already in the south, they decided that they had to build a settlement in order to plan the reconquest of southern Helrriard.
In 235, the most basic form of this settlement was built, and it was called Erdenmar. Its entrance was hidden, and the city was inside large caverns, with the dwellings carved out of the rock.
Once settled, the relationship between Eldamar and Martonar prospered and they fell in love, and together with Darmor and other soldiers, they planned the reconquest of southern Helrriard.
The plans consisted of recovering the cities of Rodemar and Disenmar, to finally expel the Corrupts who had fled to the swampy Durramard region towards the Kurgotal.
Eldamar, Martonar and Darmor were the leaders who would command these movements.
The year 238 was the year of the reconquests, and both cities were reclaimed by the Helimard, albeit at great cost, since Darmor himself fell in Rodemar.
Already entered the year 239, the battle of Durramard was approaching. If successful, southern Helrriard would have been liberated.
When the army of the survivors reached Durramard, they found the place full of enemy encampments, and even the Shadows roamed the dark waters.
It was a tough battle and would always be remembered in the history of Helrriard. There, the great Eldamar Norrar found his end, who despite receiving three arrows, continued to fight until the forces of his body left him.
There was victory for the survivors, and the Corrupts were driven into the Herramard region.
After the battle, Martonar cried before the lifeless body of Eldamar, surrounded by a chorus of soldiers who were silent.
Eldamar Norrar would never be forgotten at Helrriard. He was the great savior of the Helimard, and they honored his memory with various monuments.
A bronze sculpture was erected at Erdenmar, showing him with his faithful companion the falcon, the one he had saved in Tarharr many years ago.
And in the Durramard marshes, another bronze sculpture was erected, on his barrow, in heroic attitude and with the falcon, and there was no Corrupt who dared to desecrate this monument.
Southern Helrriard had been freed from the yoke of the Corrupt, and the Helimard civilization had survived without submitting to the designs of Minhierr.
But the Lord of the Emptiness lurks in the north, and the Helimard will have to be very cautious if they want to regain the life they had before the Ruin.
