Chapter 11: "Hopeless..."

Thursday morning, right after April Fools...

Jonghyun woke up late this morning with her messy hair, she checked the clock and quickly got up, getting ready for school. School starts at 8, doesn't it? Well, Jonghyun better hurries up before 7:49 becomes 7:50...

Soon, in the classroom, she got to sit in between Alicia and Akazari. "Where were you?" Alicia asked her friend who seemed to be catching her breath. Jonghyun shrugged. "I was in the dorm, I kinda slept in. After all, last night was stupid, the twins ruined the whole night." Akazari kept quiet.

"Oh," Alicia sat up straight. "Well, I had a great night, not mean to brag." After that morning, Jonghyun kinda had a bad mood. "Say, what happened to Jonghyun. It seems like she ran over by a bus." Akazari looked at the younger twin. "Don't say that!" She hit her sister with a book.

"She might hear us!" She said, still whispering. Jonghyun was beside them, listening to their conversation the whole time.  "You guys are idiots." Akazari and Akiko gulped. "We can't help it!!" They said in sync, Alicia running towards them.

"Guys!" Alicia said, having unsteady breath. "I have an idea!" Jonghyun opened her phone. "Spit." Alicia stood up straight, finally caught her breath. "Ms. Robinson said--." Akiko cut her off. "Alicia smells like pee." Alicia stopped being so hype. "Well then, I guess we're not gonna get a plasma TV nor a treehouse, after all."

Alicia turned around, getting up to leave but Akiko tried to stop her and Akiko slapped her head. "This is why you should keep your mouth shut!" Akiko sweatdropped as Alicia came back. "Alright, we have good news." Akiko, Akazari, and Jonghyun looked up, hearing in the conversation.

"First off, we could have a hideout anywhere in the school, I asked the principal herself. And second of all, she'll introduce a new contest, the winner gets plasma TVs!" Akiko shrugged. "Seems unfair and... a hideout?"

Jonghyun sighed, the very time when the intercom called out. "I want Akiko and Akazari Azorin, and Alicia Cisse in my office." Jonghyun laughed. "I completely forgot about that! So long idiots, I'll be having "me time."

 The twins eyed Jonghyun as they left the scene, Alicia trying to push them away. "I lost my energy because of what happened last night. I have nothing to do with this!" Akazari snickered. "Tell that to Ms. Robinson, I thought you two were buddy-buddy with each other after having a conversation."

"Yeah, I thought you were gonna persuade her!" Akiko accused. "Well, I didn't and got carried away, Azorin twins!" Akazar looked at Akiko. "She might be the shortest but she'll have white hairs first." Akiko nods.

Meanwhile, Jonghyun was heading over to Heart Shakers, wanting to meet the girl who she met the other, other day. Jonghyun was worried and when she got there the girl wasn't there. Strange. Jonghyun grabbed a smoothie just in case the employees might accuse her of stealing. And besides, it's lunchtime.

20 minutes passed along very well, surprisingly her friends weren't out of the court yet... I wonder how they're doing...

[In the Guidance office...]

"Shut up!"

"No, you shut up!"

"Girls--."

"How about you shut up, Mrs. Honey!"

"Yeah!"

"Ms. Cisse, why don't you help me handle the situation?" Alicia looks up, in between Akiko and Akazari who were doing their "fighting twins" trick. Alicia looks up and shrugs, looking back at her book. As long as she doesn't get suspended or get detention, she was fine with the twins' fighting. After all, they kinda "owed" Alicia something after yesterday.

[Back to the lonely Jonghyun...]

Jonghyun looks at her phone, sipping the last bit of her smoothie. As she looks up she finds the girl... the waitress who lent the bag to her. Jonghyun blushed as the girl waves. Jonghyun tries to hide the blush and waves back.

"I didn't know you were a student of the all-mighty Fallslock." The girl sat down beside Jonghyun. Jonghyun nodded. "Thank my friends, they're the ones who supported me throughout everything." The girl nods, letting out a cute giggle. "Say, what's your name?"

"Jonghyun Bae, you?" Jonghyun lets out a hand for the lady to shake. "Mina Park." Jonghyun smiles. "Nice meeting you, Mina. You have a pretty name." Mina nodded. "Thank you, Jonghyun. You have one too." Jonghyun smiled and nodded, it was silent but Mina spoke up.

"So, you may not have noticed but I'm also a student here, I only work for Heart Shakers for Monday lunch and dinner. I'm in your Chemistry class." Jonghyun's face slaps herself for not noticing the beautiful face in the room. "That's okay, want to be partners next time?" Jonghyun nods.

And just like that, Jonghyun starts her love story. Without her loud friends bothering. "Hey Hyung!" Akiko yelled, running towards her as Akazari and Alicia walk from behind. "How was the talk?" Akiko shrugged. "Mrs. Honey got so stressed-out by me and Akazari's technique that she let us out immediately!"

Jonghyun was confused, looking at Alicia. "Yeah right, seemed like a decade." Akiko giggled. "So you did miss us." Jonghyun shrugged. "I had other people to talk to so it wasn't exactly "me time." Jonghyun turned to Alicia. "And you'd tolerate this?" Alicia shrugged. "As long as my reputation doesn't burn out, I'm guessing the twins arguing technique won't be so bad after all."

"Wanna eat lunch?" They all shrugged. "How about Heart Shakers?"
