"New Game"

Chapter 26: "New Game"

"New game, new game, new game!" Akazari smiles, clapping her hands for each and every word of the sentence. She was bored for the past week since Akiko was usually the one who brings them to adventures but while she was sulking, Akazari got bored... making a new game.

"Alright, what do you want to do, Akazari? You seem ecstatic about this." Alicia happily comments, catching her attention. "Of course I am, it's been a boring week so why not play a game? A new one perhaps."

Jonghyun enters the living room after two weeks of pleasure since, you know, she's lost the bet. This also grabs the attention of the other two's conversation. "She's aroused," Alicia mutters as Akazari just slowly nods in agreement and disgust.

Meanwhile, Nigel and Vincent after a day of practice in the fields and Mina were in Jonghyun's room. "Guys! Let's play a game!" Akazari informs the guys who just entered the room. Nigel, who was sipping in coffee, raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"It's getting a little dull in the living room, do you mind tidying it up with me?" Vincent shrugs. "I don't usually mind. After all, the dorm's quiet without Author-sama writing." Akazari was confused, furrowing her eyebrows. "Alright... whatever, weirdo."

"New game it is then!" Alicia yelled in victory, raising her hand as the aroused Jonghyun sat by her. But instead of aroused I feel like she's drunk. Vincent sits by his love while Akazari went to get something from her locker.

"What is she even looking for?" Mina questions, entering the living room, better than Jonghyun ever was. "A game she made during the week," Nigel answers her question as he sits at another sofa, Mina sitting on the main one with Jonghyun, Vincent, and Alicia.

"Tada!" Akazari kicked out the door. "Akazari! You're paying for that!" Alicia told, Akazari rolled her eyes. "Alright, alright. Just let us play this game I made."

"Akiko usually has a set of different types of games. What is it? -- A quiz type, a physical type, a done type, a table-top type, a mixed type, or an original?" Jonghyun asks her friend, recovering as Akazari quietly shuts the door with her foot. "What's a mix?" Nigel asks Jonghyun as Alicia answers with speed.

"A mixture of little children games. Take for example, Simon says and tag. Mix them together and you have Simon tag." Vincent smiles. "I really liked those originals." He comments as Akazari reached the middle of the living room with the others, placing the cards on top of the coffee table.

"Tarot cards? We're playing with tarot cards?" Alicia asks as Akazari nodded. "Yup, someone bought them for our birthday. Akiko wanted them but I secretly kept them in my locker. I didn't know how to play with them so instead, I made a game with it during the week." She places a finger in front of her mouth and silenced them.

"Alright, what's the game all about, Ari?" Nigel asks her as she opens the box of cards to reveal the magnificent decor on them. "They have different types of colors, purple, pink, blue, and yellow." She tells the group about the game and they all take turns.

(If you're curious, the game goes like this... There are 4 teams depending on each color, you are teamed with the person who picked the same color as you did. Though, you don't know that neither you the color other people picked.

You pick a subject to debate about, picking each color/team in which side they're in. Make sure to not make it obvious. You could act if you are on the same team or on the other. You have to trust 2 people and 2 people need to trust you or it depends on the number of players.

You win by trusting the same people who have your color. You can go by rounds and points or one game.... wow, that was long.)

They played some more games and had fun, tired and having a fun picnic... the end??
