Chapter 14: "A Bad Egg-sample for a Chapter..."

Today was Easter Sunday, making people go wild about this particular day. Well... "Good morning Freshmen students from Fallslock high, I am your vice principal, Ms. Lane speaking. Today is Easter Sunday. Last night, faculty, sophomores, seniors, and juniors have hidden some eggs around the campus. This is grouped by dorms."

That was Ms. Lane, the vise principal on the intercom, she planned most of the ideas of the events and occasions that happened to Fallsock. "And by the way, if you win, there would be a prize. The eggs are normal eggs, sometimes colored and sometimes made out of plastic. There is plenty for everyone. Now, I want everyone to meet up in the field, right now."

As said, the girls woke up to the sound of the intercom, speaking as they heard only the last proportion of the speech Ms. Lane gave them. But, since they only heard the last part, they came to the field like the obedient dogs they are. Now, all of the people from dorm 150 were done, heading to the field, bags under their eyes.

"Alright, students. Welcome to the 2nd Annual Easter Egg hunting for Freshmen," Ms. Lovely said with a smile on her face, allowing Mr.  Brune to step in. "Today will be the day where you start helping with the people you live with." He said, with a frown as usual. "Keep in mind, teamwork makes the dream work, so in a few minutes we get to start the occasion." Ms. Lane said with a soft smile written down her face.

Just then, Ms. Robinson came in with a frown, not wanting to do any of this. "You only have until 12 p.m, any more than that will be disqualified, got it?" She said strictly, making the students shiver. "Each faculty member would be checking each dorm. If you were caught cheating, stealing or even lying about the number of your total eggs, you will be disqualified."

The Ironic Critix thought otherwise... "Alright, Freshmen, you shall start in exactly 10 minutes, during that 10 minutes, you are allowed to think of a plan with your dormmates." Ms. Robinsons finished with a smile, quickly hidden when a student, Akazari saw her.

Dorm 150 created a circle, thinking of a well-thought plan on how to get the most eggs amongst everyone else. "The first one in thought is to start figuring out the easy places, the ones in the open. Second, if you were a faculty member, a sophomore, Junior, or Senior, you think about where to hide it away from the younger people. And lastly, don't look in the same place, there are plenty of places in the school both indoors and outdoors."

Alicia said with determination in her eyes. Jonghyun raised a finger, "what if we assigned each other on where to go, that's so we don't have a hard time  running into each other." Alicia smiled. "Good idea. Now, the fastest dormmates go to the farthest and the highest point of the school. The eagle eyes search in the lower grounds and indoors. The rest outdoors and remaining."

"What does that mean?" Akiko asked Alicia in confusion. Alicia shrugged, "just do as I say and I think we could win at least the bronze medal." Akazari raised a hand. "How can we figure out which one we are?"

Alicia sighed, "that's when Akiko and you come around, Akazari." Akazari nodded, "alright." ...

Now the plan went like this:

Field:

John: North and North-East
Keir: East and South-East
Akazari: South and South-West
Alicia: West and North-West

Indoors:

Vincent: 1st dorm building
Kiara: 2nd dorm building
Andrew: Main School Building
Akiko: Food industry

Help and Remaining:

Jonghyun helped the Eastside with Akazari, Keir, and John.

Nigel helped with the Westside with Akazari, John and Alicia

Aiden helped with the indoors and Cascade tried to find the remaining...

"Ready, set... go!!" The teachers said in the last second as everyone ran to a bolt around the school...

After hours, Dorm 150 met up at their dorm with 564 eggs in total. They stopped by to count and eat for just an hour. After that, they started searching once more. Finding 296 eggs and as the bell rings, everyone was sent to their dorms. They heard footsteps walking creepily nearer and nearer to their dorm.

They still tried to count all of them, the boys trying to think of a plan to distract while the girls were counting. Just then... a knock on the door. Vincent gladly opened the door, looking directly at the woman in front of him. "Have you counted all the eggs yet?"

Alicia went rushing to the front door, finally counted all the eggs for about the 1,000,000,000th time. "The eggs we have in total are 860," she shown the basket of eggs to the teacher. The teacher gladly took it and moved to the next dorm. Two people from the dorm before they walked beside them. "We have 729," Mina said, sighing.

Thomas patted her back, comforting her as the two of them enter heir dorm. "Well, I'm guessing you guys could win second place, you never know," Akazari said, shrugging. "We sure hope so." Mina laid her head on Jonghyun's shoulder as they rested on the couch.

"Guys!" A masculine voice was heard behind them. "How come you guys get to have friends this quickly? And making them stay at our dorm?" It was Aiden, he seemed to be jealous about having the girls make other friends. "It's because we're friendlier!" Akiko shouted at the guy. "What are you-- Sexist!?" Aiden yelled back.

But as Akiko was about to answer, she was hit in the head with a splat that covered half of her face. "Headshot!" Akazari yelled, throwing more. "Duck!" Akiko yelled, crouching behind the couch. "I told you would be splashed with eggs the next time I saw you!"

Just then, the intercom was on-again, Ms. Robinson talking on it. "The results have been counted." They hoped and prayed to win, even just 3rd place. "On 3rd place, we have, Dorm 156 with 649 in total. In the second place, we have dorm 149 with 729 eggs in total... And the first place we have..."

We all know who it is, to be honest, don't we? "Dorm 150 with a total of 860 eggs! Congratulations for the rest of you and good day..."
