Chapter 13: "Soft Coughs..."

A/n [Important]: Dudes... please forgive me for the following events cause I don't really make chapters or books about or for myself cause I'm not that narcissistic nor seeking for attention. I just wanted a fair amount of chapters for each and every person in the book, including me.

Besides, I need a break from writing about other people. Why not for myself? Anyway, thanks in advance. You don't need to read the chapter but if you'd like to then, sure. Good luck. [Bitches is written somewhere in there...]

As the girls entered their dorm, they saw four people sitting on the couch. First off, there was Mina, making Jonghyun whisper, "how did she get in here?" Then Vincent, "Hey guys!" Waving at Alicia, Alicia waved back. We turn to Thomas and Nigel who smiled at Akiko and Akazari who just walked off to their room.

"Hello, stranger!" Mina walked over to Jonghyun, showing something on her phone. "I heard your song, I really liked it, mind teaching me for a bit?" Jonghyun nodded, speechless. "Great!" Mina smiled at her. "Come, let's go to your room."

"How was the rain, I hope you didn't get sick," Vincent told Alicia who just shrugged. "Nahm, though I'm worried about Akiko who Akazari said had a weak immune system." Vincent looked at her with concern. "What happened?" Alicia laughed awkwardly. "Jonghyun and Akiko played in the rain." He giggled, "oh."

"Akazari?" Nigel was outside, trying to get the girls' attention. "I'm leaving if your boyfriend won't stop calling out to Juliette." Akiko sat up, looking at Akazari. Akazari sighed in tiredness, getting up her bed, opening the door to talk to Nigel.

Someone ran into the room as Akazari left and hugged Akiko. "Halo, stupidiot." She knew it was Thomas. "What're you doing here?" Thomas frowned. "I thought about stopping by, you look sick." Akiko rolled her eyes. "Am not, can you leave?" Thomas looks at here, brows furrowed. "And why?"

"I don't need an idiot nanny, taking care of me." Thomas looks at her, offended. He thinks of something. "Want something from the cafetorium?" Akiko pouted, not wanting dept. "It's for free." Akiko sighed in defeat. "Alright, idiot. Just this once got it?" She stood up, making Thomas hype.

They got out of the room, staring at the two couples who were separated. Akazari and Nigel on the staircase, talking to each other and Alicia and Vincent on the sofa, also talking to each other. "Where are you heading?!" Alicia said, mad at them.

Vincent chuckled, saying, "leave the kid alone, it's not like they're gonna be more than friends." Alicia pouted. "Easy for the guy to say, you have a laid back friend while Akiko's really hyper about food and stuff."

"Please, Thomas isn't any different." Akiko looked at them, disgusted. "We heard that!" Akazari stood up from the staircase, "bitches before kisses, Akiko!" Akiko put her middle finger up. "Look who's talking!"

Akazari puts her middle finger up as well. "When I see you again, I'll be slamming eggs into your face!" Akiko stuck her tongue, leaving with Thomas. "Bitches before kisses?" He asks Akiko in curiosity, she nods. "It's just a saying between us four. Almost like Ducks of a feather--."

"Stick together?" Thomas cut her off as she shook her head. "When you're in our friend group, you'd be saying... hit one another." Thomas was weirded out, repeating it. "Ducks of a feather, hit one another?"

"Why ducks?" Akiko giggled in delight. "When we were in our last year in Elementary, Akazari collected and adopted weird boys, mostly younger ones since we were in our last year. She adopted the ones who were always hype, our friends and just guys who didn't care about repetition and popularity. Thus, they'd call her grandpa duck. And besides, she's always liked ducks. I didn't mind."

Thomas giggled to himself because of the cute idea. "If you were a different bird, what'll you be?" Akiko thought for a second. "I wanted to be a penguin but Jonghyun already took it because of someone. And I ended up being a quail."

"Why so?"

"Why wouldn't you like a cute, small and circular object in your hand. It would be adorable! Not many people like or know them well, that's why I kinda stand out."

Thomas nodded in agreement. "If you say so..."

Soon, they ended up getting ice cream and donuts as they sat on a bench that was nearby the cafetorium. Akiko started to cough and shiver, making Thomas a little worried. "You okay, Koko?" Akiko nodded, coughing continuously.

Thomas sighed, checking her temperature. "You're hot." Akiko blushed, furrowing her brows. Thomas waves his hands. "Warm, I mean warm, Akiko! D-don't be mad at me!" Akiko shivered, feeling something land on her shoulders.

She turned over to him, he lent over his jacket. Akiko smiled, "thanks!" Thomas smiled back. "Wanna go back to the dorm?" Akiko looked ahead, sighing. "Thanks for the food, idiot." He shrugged. "It was nothing."

Akiko nodded, standing up, "coming?" Thomas side hugged her, "it's better to go with a friend." Akiko smiled but as soon as he turned away, frowned. Just a friend, huh?

As they head to the dorm, the door opens as three heads peeked. "How did you know we were heading back?" Akazari grinned evilly. "It's not like your voices were heard across the hall." Jonghyun and Alicia hit her head. "Akazari!"

"What?" She said, rubbing her head. Alicia looked at Akiko. "Are you okay?" Akiko nodded. "I'm okay," she sneezed. "You're not. You might as well have the coronavirus. " Thomas eyes her as she goes inside. "Please take care of Akiko." He said worriedly. The shortly nodded, turning to Akiko.

"What?" She grunted, eating a donut. "Where did you get that?!" Akazari looked with red pupils. "What did you do with Thomas?!" Alicia asked, skeptical. "Did you infect Thomas?!" They stepped closer. "Did you kiss?!"

[I hate this. I don't want the attention that much... =3=']

"You idiots! We did not! It's only been a week since we met. How come you guys aren't in a relationship yet?!" The three of them raised their right hands, showing off their rings. "Cause we're married!"

Akiko sighed, sniffing. "Unbelievable..."
