Chapter 7
Michael's POV
That was when Kay announced that she needed to talk to everyone and so asked those awake to wake up the others. Bri shuffled to wake Austin while I turned to slowly shake Ritchie. He woke with a grunt and I watched as his face flashed through stages of anger, confusion then gratitude.
"kay wants to talk to us" I said softly. He simply grunted in response before attempting to get up, failing miserably as his arm was still wrapped around mine. Obviously too tired to notice, he simply tried again, except this time I got up with him so he didn't fall. He hummed dragging me to one end of the table. He'd clearly woke up by the time he got there as he let go, blushing as he took a seat. I dragged a chair over so that I was next to him, watching as Austin took the one next to me, followed by Bri who smiled in my direction.
Kay cleared her voice, "are we just going ahead with attacking them then, since we have no other option?" There were many hums of agreement before Kay turned towards me, "unless you have any"
I shook my head, "not apart from the idea of attacking from behind"
"why behind?" she asked, "element of surprise?"
"that and the fact there's less at the back so it won't be as hard and we won't get overwhelmed as easily"
"you come to camp that way?" Austin asked beside me to which I hummed in agreement.
Kay then tuned back to everyone else, "okay then we set off after breakfast, be ready".
Sorry, this is kind of a filler part but I can confirm the next part is a big one with, lets say, some drama. :)
