---HE'S A SCREAMER---

         "We need to talk."

Abigail stood in front of Hotch's hotel room door. "That's what you said on the phone." She had to admit, she feared the conversation that was about to happen for all she knew he had found out the truth and she would have no choice but to terminate him.

     "Can you come in?"

"Sure." Abigail stepped into his hotel room, eyeing the lamp on the small desk. The pot of warm coffee in the little kitchen-the red light was on so the coffee was still warm. Probably hot enough to burn him if she flung it at him. "What can I help you with Agent Hotchner?"

Hotch motioned to the sofa across from the two beds in the room. "Would you take a seat?" She did as told. Watching her boss as he pulled the desk chair towards her. She analyzed his behavior and decided he had yet to project any tense actions so he meant no harm but there was something on his mind.

      "Hotch what's wrong?"

      "You're file."

The moment of relaxation flew out the window at sound barrier speed. "My file?"

"Did you send a file in?"

"Sir, I'm confused." Aaron opened his laptop waiting a moment for the device to start up.               "What is wrong with my file?"

"I saw your work in the field." He looked back at the young blonde across from him. "I'm impressed."

         "Thank you?"

"Abigail I am going to be blunt." Hotch watched her trying to find any flaw in her behavior but she looked like she always has. Abigail was collected, she sat listening Hotch back with the same intensity he listened to her. "I think you have more experience than your file let on, I need to know why."

"Why? Why my field experience isn't in my file?"

       "Yes."

Abigail nodded, with a quick adjustment of how she was sitting she knew she could trick Hotch into thinking she was telling the truth. Feet facing him, eyes not to focus on him and her hand not held together. "I was told this was a temporary position, that I am only here to help with cases. I sent my resume when they requested me."

Aaron was surprised to hear that. "Strauss requested you?"

          "Yes."

If the BAU section chief had requested Abigail personally then she was certainly overqualified for the job. This also meant that she was more experienced than he had originally thought. "Okay, then there's nothing I can do."
