We both turn around and see Levi leaning against the wall. How long was he standing there? Did he hear my conversation? Is he going to look at me differently? Did I do something wrong?

Thoughts swarmed my head, but I kept my face straight. I'm not showing emotion right now.

"About how Y/n flipped Petra and Gunther. What about it shorty?"

"Y/n," please don't yell at me, "you have to control whether you fight. I believe pain is the best discipline, however, watch it brat, or you're going to get yourself in trouble."

"It's not my fault I have a fighting reflex."

I see Hanji shake her head with a smile on her face in the corner of my eye.

"Okay, I'm awfully fucking tired of your remarks. I've been letting it go, but now it's starting to piss me off. When I say something, I expect you to not give me a smartass remark. Got it?"

"Yeah, sure," I say, looking down, knowing if I said anything else, who knows what would happen.

"Shitty glasses, where were you talking the brat?"

"Somewhere secret~"

How the fuck is she not afraid of Levi? I don't understand. I mean, I'm not afraid of him. I just don't want to cause anything that would make me afraid of him.

"I'm going to make sure you both don't get yourselves in trouble, knowing you shitty glasses."

"Okay~"

All three of us walk together. Hanji brushed her arm against me and I feel myself tense. I don't know why. She looked at me in confusion and then decides to ask me later probably.

Levi is walking a bit faster than I am. Hanji, despite her huge height difference, is walking a lot slower than we are, but fast enough to keep up. Hanji is probably like a foot taller than both Levi and I since we are about the same height.

"What are you staring at?" Levi snaps, looking at me. I was staring at the sky above.

"Nothing. Sorry sir."

I just stared at the ground for the rest of the way there. I hear Hanji stop walking and I look up. I don't blame Hanji for picking this place as a thinking spot. There's a tree with a branch that you could climb up or use the maneuver gear to get to the top. Under, there's a patch of grass with a few types of flowers like daisies and tulips. Also, there's a full view of the sky, which is really pretty at night.

"So you like it?"

"Yeah," I whisper.

I hear crunching beside me and I see Levi lean against the tree while staring at the wall. Luckily, he's not near the branch, so I start to climb it. I successfully climb it and lay down with my back against the tree and my legs hanging off the branch. Hanji sits on the ground near me and looks at me and smiles. I smile slightly back and look at the sky.

Imagine living in a world where there were no titans. Where we don't have to fear for our lives every day. Where we can live freely and go anywhere we want. Space is like that, isn't it? There isn't any titans up there, I'm sure. We technically don't have to fear being eaten, I guess. Just now, there is a fear that we won't have oxygen. Anyway, we could live freely there. We can go anywhere we want. There's never ending possibilities if we were to live in space.

I look down and see Hanji asleep. She probably got tired from jumping the whole time getting here and taking notes.

"What are you doing, brat?" Levi says, keeping his gaze at the wall.

"Nothing."

"Don't lie to me."

"I was staring at the sky, sir."

"Why?"

"Just thinking about if it were better if we lived in space than here."

"Why would you think so?" He says, looking at me now.

I look at the sky again before saying, "In space, there's never ending possibilities.  We could be free. There would be no titans. We could-"

"Don't put such images in your head. They are just going to get your hopes up for something that can't happen. You'll lose all hope in yourself and your mind will become clouded, understand?"

"Is that what happened to you?" I say, without even thinking about it.

"What did you say?"

"I didn't mean to say that. I apologize," I say sitting up.

"You're right."
