You sat on your bed and flicked through the pages in your school book. Hastily, You shoved a book mark inside the book when you heard your phone ringing.
'Hey baby!' You said, smiling at your boyfriend, even though you were slightly confused that he was in a car.
'Hi.' He said bluntly.
'Are you ok? Where are you?' You asked, concerned.
'Yeah, it doesn't matter where I am.'
'Ugh, what's wrong?' You questioned.
'I can't do this, y/n. I feel like I'm letting you down.' He cried and abruptly hung up.
You walked downstairs, taken aback by what has just happened. You sat in your living room and stared at the floor, trying to come to terms with what Ruel just said.
You didn't even realise that you were crying until you felt it drip down onto your leg.
'What wrong y/n/n (your nickname)?' Your little sister babbled.
'Oh nothing.' You said, ruffling her hair.
'Why are you crying, mummy said that only sad people cry.' She mumbled.
'I just watched a sad movie baby.' You said hugging her.
Your little sister left the living room and you sat in it and cried. Before you knew it, your mum came into the living room and engulfed you into a hug.
'What's happened sweetheart?' Your mum cooed, rubbing your back soothingly.
'Ruel said he 'can't do it anymore' or whatever.' You replied coldly, more tears slipping from your eyes.
'Aww darling he's not worthy of your tears if that's how he treated you.' She explained.
You walked back upstairs to your room with your little sister in your arms. You sat her down on your bed and checked your phone. Twelve missed calls from Ruel in ten minutes. You decided to call him back to hear what he had to say.
'What?' You asked quickly trying not to show any emotion.
'I'm sorr- ' he began.
'I don't want to hear it, I'm with y/s/n (your sisters name)' you explained.
'I'm just trying to tell you that I didn't mean it in that way.' He pleaded.
'And I told you that I don't want to hear it, Ruel.' You spoke, coldly.
'I love you.' He whispered.
Tears began to fall from your eyes again but luckily you were only calling him not FaceTiming him.
Your sister noticed your tears and she snatched the phone from your hands.
'Listen, you need to stop making my sister cry because she is amazing and you don't deserve her if you make her feel like this!' She blabbed.
'You're right, y/s/n, I don't deserve your sister. She's way too good for me.' He cried.
'Apologise to her!' y/s/n said sternly, then giggling straight after.
'I'm so sorry y/n and I've got a bit of a surprise for you.' Ruel explained.
'What are yo-' you began when you heard the doorbell go.
'y/n it's for you!' You heard your mum shout up the stairs when she opened the door.
You ran downstairs to see Ruel stood at your door, you couldn't help yourself. You ran into his arms.
'I thought you were really breaking up with me.' You cried into his chest.
'No baby, even y/s/n was in on my plan.' He chuckled.
'That's why you were in the car!' You sniffled, trying to stop your tears.
'Yeah, aw baby don't cry.' He said wiping your tears.
'I thought that you were going to forget about me.' You admitted, clearing your throat.
'That's impossible babe, I'm always thinkin' about you.'
