y/n's POV
I filmed a new Tik Tok to post before I went downstairs to talk to my mum about our trip to Australia. I had around four-hundred-thousand followers and they were all so nice and supportive.
Ruel's POV
I scrolled through Tik Tok and I didn't realise that I was just rewatching a video of y/n on my following page until Coco pointed it out.
'Awww does little Ruel have a crush?' She teased.
'What? Oh y/n, yeah she's so beautiful.' I said, not thinking about what was coming out of my mouth.
'Ohhh, I heard that she's visiting Australia.' Coco said.
'What? Really?' I asked, excited.
'Yeah I watch her YouTube channel as well, she said that she's coming like this week.' Coco explained.
'OMG!' I squealed, making Coco laugh.
y/n's POV
I just arrived at the airport with my mum, ready to get on our flight to Australia.
'y/n, who is Ruel?' My mum asked me as we sat in the airport waiting to board our flight.
'Um, I think he's a singer, why?' I asked.
'Watch this.' She said, giving me her phone.
It was a video of Ruel doing a lie detector test with his sisters and one of the questions was 'do you have a crush on the Tik Toker, y/n y/l/n?' . Ruel initially replied with a no but the lie detector test shocked him and then he had a pink blush plastered across his face.
'Oh, well that's nice to know.' I laughed.
Since we were still waiting for our plane, I decided to DM Ruel's sister, Coco, to ask whether that was true or not.
Coco's POV
I was sat on the couch with Ruel watching Big Mouth when I got a DM. I checked my Instagram and it came up with 'DM from @y/i/g
(your Instagram)'.
'OMG, Ruel look who just DM'd me!' I laughed.
'Are you joking? What did she ask?' He asked curiously.
'She asked whether the lie detector test was actually true.' I said.
'Ahhhh, she saw that video.' He said, burying his head into a mound of pillows, embarrassed.
I just laughed and replied that it was one-hundred percent true and that Ruel would love to meet her if she would like to meet him.
y/n's POV
My phone vibrated whilst me and my mum were getting a drink from a random shop in the airport. I checked and and it was Coco saying that the video was true and that Ruel wanted to meet me.
'Umm, mum!' I squealed, quietly so that I didn't disturb anyone else in the airport.
'What sweetheart?' She asked, collecting the drinks after just paying for them.
'Coco, Ruel's sister, said that Ruel really wants to meet me!' I smiled.
'Where does he live?' She questioned.
'He lives in Australia!' I beamed.
'OMG! You have to meet him whilst we're out there, y/n!' She smiled.
'You would let me?' I asked, not believing her.
'Yes, you haven't had a boyfriend since your awful ex, it would be nice to see you have some sort of relationship again.' She smiled, warmly.
I didn't have any words to describe how happy I was so I just hugged her tightly.
Ruel's POV
Coco made me dress in fancy clothes because she told me that she was taking me somewhere nice to eat.
We both got in the car, listened to music and quietly sang along to it.
'Why won't you tell me where we're going?' I groaned, desperate to know where we were going.
'That's a surprise!' She smiled.
We arrived at a really beautiful restaurant.
'Why aren't you getting out of the car, Coco?' I asked, really confused.
She didn't reply, she just pointed at something behind me and smiled widely. I turned around and saw y/n as in the y/n y/l/n.
'Hey.' She said, walking up to me.
'Hi, you look amazing.' I said, not thinking. 'Sorry I didn't mean to make things awkward.' I added.
'No, thank you, you look amazing yourself.' She smiled.
