Request from samholt78 , hope you enjoy. I added some things to it, it's probably terrible😂

Ruel and I walked into Mary's eighteenth party, holding hands. Ruel rung the doorbell and waited.

"Hey!" Mary squealed, engulfing us both into a hug.

"Happy birthday, Mary!" I smiled, letting go of Ruel's hand and giving Mary her present.

Mary ushered us in, gave us both drinks and went to talk to more of her guests. Ruel pulled me into a hug.

"Baby, I want to go and talk to Sunday." I whined, pulling away from the hug.

"But I want to have you all to myself." Ruel pouted, grabbing my hands.

I didn't reply, I just let go of Ruel's hands and went to look for my friends. I walked into Mary's living room and saw all of my friends in a group.

"Hey y/n, when did you get here?" Sunday said, pulling me into a hug.

"Not long ago, Ruel's being really clingy." I chuckled, pulling away from the hug.

"He really loves you, you know that right?" My friend said.

"Yeah, I love him too but he's being really clingy today." I explained.

Me and my friends talked and caught up while drinking our drinks.

"Hey guys." Ruel said, walking up and hugging me from behind.

"Hey Ruel." My friends said as I attempted to wiggle out of Ruel's grasp.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asked, turning me to face him.

"Nothing, I just want to catch up with my friends." I explained, beginning to get annoyed at his clingy antics.

"Well I'm not stopping you." Ruel said, turning me back to face my friends and placing a kiss in the top of my head.

"I think that y/n means that she wants to talk to us alone." Sunday explained, quietly.

"Oh, right." Ruel said, walking off sadly.

"For the love of god." I groaned. "He's upset now." I continued.

"Gosh, sorry I didn't mean to upset him." Sunday fretted.

"No don't worry hun, I don't know why he's being like this, I should talk to him." I said, hugging Sunday and then walking to find Ruel.

I walked around Mary's house, attempting to find Ruel but failing. I decided to see if Mary had seen him.

"Hey, have you seen Ruel?" I asked.

"Yeah, I just saw him, he said that he was going outside." Mary explained. "Are you okay?" She asked.

"Um, yeah, he's just been a bit off. Thanks for telling me." I said, walking off.

I opened the front door and immediately spotted Ruel sat down on Mary's driveway.

"Ruel you scared me, why are you here?" I asked, going up to him and pulling him into a hug.

"You want me now." He said bluntly, not hugging back.

"What's wrong baby?" I questioned, caressing his cheek.

"Nothing." He said, taking my hand off of his cheek.

"What've I don't wrong now?" I asked, putting my head down.

"What do you mean?" Ruel asked, concern lacing his voice.

"I feel like I'm constantly letting you down." I said.

"No, of course not. I love you so much and I'm terrified to lose you and I didn't want any guys to come near you so I was really clingy-" Ruel rambled before being stopped by me placing my lips onto his.

"I love you so much too." I smiled, grabbing his hands.

"Let's go back inside."

We walked back inside and went back to my friends who where sat down on Mary's couch.

"Are you both okay?" Sunday asked.

"Yeah." I smiled, Ruel kissing the side of my head.
