Drunken Mistake

Mommy, Don't Be Mad

Betty POV:

"You, you got me pregnant so you could become serpent king?" I ask him as the tears run down my cheeks continuously. "That's the real reason why you wanted me huh?" I ask him laughing humorlessly at my foolishness for wanting to believe that Jughead actually wanted me around because somewhere deep inside he felt something for me. 

Jughead simply looked at me and tried to hold onto me once again but I stepped back making him sigh "Be-" He starts but I cut him off. 

"How about from now on you leave me and my baby alone, Serpent King" I say to him not wanting to listen to him any longer, his face drops and as he was going to say something I run off. 

I run and run until I can't catch my breath and when I finally stop, I lean forwards placing my hands on my knees and break down. I walk the rest of the way home and realize I left my phone and my backpack with in Veronica's car, I sigh in frustration knowing that she and Kevin will soon be coming over and I don't really want that right now, all I want is to be alone. 

I walk inside and go straight upstairs feeling my stomach rumble "Okay, I'm sorry I'll go get you something to eat" I mutter to my baby and smile lightly realizing that I love the fact that i'm going to be a mommy soon, no matter if I have Jughead by my side or not. I head into the kitchen and as I begin to make myself a sandwhich, there is a knock on my door. 

I groan knowing that it's Veronica and Kevin so I open up the door and my jaw drops when I see Sweet Pea standing there with a bag from Pops. Something that i'm always craving now that I'm pregnant. 

"Can I come in? I come baring gifts" He says to me with a smile. 

I sigh and look down at the bag biting my lip and give in "Only because you brought me Pops" I say to him making him laugh "Actually, Veronica had ordered this for you and Jughead literally ordered me to bring it to you and paid for it along with this" He says placing my phone and my backpack on the counter. 

"Thank you" I say to him, grabbing the Pops bag eagerly and pulling out the onion rings and quickly placing one in my mouth moaning at the taste. 

" I can see you enjoying those onion rings" Sweet Pea says through a chuckle. 

"Uhm actually this bean is" I say to him pointing down towards my stomach, he nods in understanding "Thanks for bringing this" I say to him. 

"Actually Betty, I was hoping to talk to you" He then says to me making me roll my eyes knowing this was coming. "Look I know Jughead told you about the Serpent king deal and I also know that you didn't let him explain so I was hoping you'd let me clear up somethings for you" 

"Do i have a choice?" I ask him through a mouthful of food. 

"Not really" He says laughing at the sight of me. 

"Well then proceed I guess" I say to him. 

"Look, I know Jughead fucked up several times but he never wanted to hurt you" He tells me and I scoff "Yeah right" I retort rolling my eyes and putting another onion ring in my mouth. 

"I'm serious Betty, he wasn't even suppose to get you pregnant" He adds. 

"Oh I know he was suppose to get his precious Toni but he didn't want to fuck up her life so instead he decided to fuck up mine" I shout out to him "Though now I wouldn't say he fucked it up since I love my baby more than anything" I say to him.

"That's the thing though Betty, he didn't get her pregnant because of those reasons, he didn't get her pregnant because he didn't want her much sleep with her, you've been the only girl he's slept with." Sweet Pea says standing up now "Betty, Jughead is in love with you." 

"That isn't funny Sweet Pea, you can't come to my house and tell me these things especially that, that Jughead loves me because" I start. 

"Because what Betty?" He then asks me with a risen eyebrow. 

"Because I love him! I love Jughead, I've always loved him and this, this isn't funny pea. Please don't play with my emotions the same way he and Toni did" I say to him as I bawl my eyes out. 

"I would never play with something like this Betty, I'm telling you the truth. Jughead loves you and he even admitted it in front of all the serpents today at the Wyrm and that's including Toni" He says to me as he walks towards the door "Don't be mad, I know you have the right to be but he chose you Betty. He chose you" And with that he left. 

Jughead POV:

I run my hands through my hands through my hair as I down my third shot of the night, I thought telling Betty would be the best for me and her but I should've just kept my mouth shut. 

"So what's got you so down?" Toni asks sitting down besides me with a smile on her face. 

I scoff and roll my eyes, actively trying to ignore her the best I can. I see from the corner of my eye as she tries to slowly creep up towards me when suddenly I feel her hand creeping up thigh. I look down at her hand and then up at her, making her smile wide at me. I grab her hand and guide her towards the restroom and as she goes to kiss me, I shove her away from me. 

"Listen and listen carefully! Leave me the fuck alone! Don't come near me or Betty. Do you fucking understand me because if you do then we're going to have some problems." I growl out  to her and without another word I walk out of the restroom and walk back towards the bar when suddenly, my phone pings. I unlock my phone and see a message from Betty. 

Wanna come over?

Sent: 6:07 pm

I smirk putting my phone away and going to my bike making my way to Betty's.
