I'm Ready Mommy And Daddy

Narrator POV:

"Okay, are you in pain?" Jughead asks her as she walks towards her. Betty nods her head no then goes to grab a fresh pair of panties and some leggings to change into before they rush to the hospital. 

"How are you guys insanely calm?" Archie asks with heavy breathing and a scared expression on his face making Betty giggle and Jughead chuckle while Veronica rolls her eyes as she helps Betty walk into the bathroom while Jughead got everything in order like her hospital bag as well as the proper documents they would require while their hospital visit. 

"Jug, I'm freaking out here" Archie says to his friend in a panic. Jughead glares over at his friend and rolls his eyes "Dude, can you chill. Both me and Betty are trying to remain calm but you aren't helping....Do me a favor and call my dad and her mom and let them know that Betty is in labor and to meet us at the hospital" Jughead commands the red head in a somewhat of a calm voice. Jughead may seem like he's calm on the outside but on the inside he's a nervous wreck. He thought he still had time to get prepared for the arrival of his son but it seems like Jordan has a mind of his own, reminding him of Sweet Pea. Jughead chuckles internally at the thought and feels kind of sad that the same day they laid Sweet Pea to rest is the same day his son decided to bless them with meeting him for the first time. 

Archie sits down on the bed, biting down on his thumbnail ignoring the fact that he was suppose to let the soon to be grandparents know that their grandson is currently making his way into the world. 

Jughead turned to look at Archie and rolled his eyes once again "Dude! Seriously? I asked you to call my dad and Betty's mom" Jughead snaps but as the words came out of his mouth so did Betty and Veronica "Don't worry Jug, we already got it handled" Veronica replies to him looking over at Archie and mentally slaps him for being so immature while their friends are about to have a baby. Betty looks over at Jughead and gives him a small smiles as she walks over to her boyfriend "How are you feeling? Any contractions yet?" He asks her as he wraps his arms around her and pulling her closer to him making her giggle "Surprisingly no but I'm sure they'll begin soon" She replies to him, not being able to contain the nervousness that she's feeling about going into labor but she also can't fight the fact that she's excited about meeting her baby boy who she's waited so anxiously for.

The soon to be mother snaps out of her thoughts when Jughead kisses her on the lips and massages her back "Ready to go?" He asks her with a smile, Betty nods her head yes but then gasps when she thinks about the hospital bag "Don't worry about anything, I got it covered" He simply tells her making her relax and mentally thanking him for being so supportive and so on top of everything when she thought he'd be a nervous wreck just like Archie is at the moment. 

"Ready" She finally says and they all make their way down the stairs and into the car. Jughead and Betty sitting in the back while Veronica drives with Archie sitting in the passenger side since he was still in shock "Why are you so nervous again?" Veronica asks him with confusion. 

"Seriously, you act like you're about to become the father" Betty adds with a scowl, rolling her eyes then instantly winces when she begins to feel a pain in her stomach knowing very well that the contractions are finally staring. "Here hold onto my hand" Jughead says to her, giving her his hand and she quickly grips it tightly making him yell out in pain "OW! I said hold it not break it" Jughead says to her, wincing in pain "Gosh, you have no idea how much this hurts" He then says soon after receiving a glare from both Veronica and Betty.

"Jesus, you both are a pair of bitches" Veronica scowls then laughs loudly finding the whole situation amusing. Her friend was literally feeling one of the most intense pains and yet manages to keep her cool whereas her baby daddy and her best friend were acting like a bunch of little girls. It took them no longer than ten minutes to arrive at the hospital and as soon as they arrived both Betty and Jughead were guided to a room while Veronica, Archie, Alice, and F.P had to wait in the waiting room while they got Betty situated.
