Drunken Mistake

Clear Intentions

Betty POV:

"I just don't know if this is going to work Veronica" I say to her as I walk down the stairs, gripping the phone tightly close to my ear. 

"You need answers Betty and you need to stop being stubborn and let him explain things to you, remember you guys are having a baby" She says to me, almost like she's reminding me but really I didn't need a reminder since my life literally revolves around that now. 

"I'm not being stubborn V, He literally said he got me pregnant so he could become serpent king" I remind her and I can literally see her rolling her eyes at me right now.

"Elizabeth! You are being stubborn, Sweet Pea just told you what really happened now your going to let Jughead into your house and let him explain, also you need to tell him that you didn't mean what you said and that you're actually going to let him see his kid because that's just cruel if you don't Betty" I roll my eyes at that and before she responds I hear the door bell, I look over at it quickly and swallow rather loudly and feeling nervous. "V, I'll call you later okay?" I say to her. I hear her saying something but I don't really pay attention since I hang up on her as I walk towards the door.

I hesitate to open it but I let out a shaky breath and muster up the courage and before I run upstairs, I quickly opened the door to reveal Jughead standing there letting out a breathe  of relief once his eyes land on me. 

"Hi" He says to me breathlessly. I bite my lip and simply stand to the side to let him in without returning the greeting. 

"Did you eat already? I had Pea bring you food" He says to me walking inside, his eyes on me as he walks past me. 

"Oh yeah I did, thanks for that" I say to him. "Come on" I say to him heading towards the stairs, him following closely behind as we walk up the stairs. When we get to my room I close the door and lock it just in case my mom comes home. I see Jughead taking his jacket off and sitting down on my bed as I walk towards my vanity and leaning my behind on it. 

I bite my lip and looking around while I think of what to say to him and begin to think that this was a bad idea but then he spoke up "Listen Betty, I know you're upset but I'm hoping that I could change your mind regarding me being there for our baby because despite of what you think of me, you having my baby is the best thing that could have ever happened to me" 

I look up and connect my eyes with his, he stands up and begins to walk over to me slowly "Listen Betty,I know I fucked up and there isn't an excuse for what I did but the truth is that I didn't get Toni pregnant because I couldn't touch her, I just couldn't. Every time my lips connected with hers I shut down, I just couldn't do it with her but with you everything was different, it was special, it was magical." He says to me finally getting to me snaking his arm around my waist as he looks down at me "Betty, I didn't want to touch her because from the moment I lost my virginity to you was the moment my heart decided that I was all yours and no one else could touch me, I got you pregnant because I'm in love with you and I know I was selfish for doing this but I couldn't see you leaving this town and forgetting all about me because I know that I'll always remember and the reason why is because I'm in love with you" 

I gasp as I hear those words coming out of his mouth and can't help but smile wide and begin to cry but this time these tears aren't out of sadness but out of pure happiness I cup his face and lean my forehead against his "I'm in love with you too Juggie" I whisper to him "I've always loved you" 

He smiles wide and without another passing moment we connect our lips.

Toni POV:

After my failed attempt at seducing Jughead I went home in anger as I think about everything. This dumbass really had the nerve to cheat on me and with that pathetic little girl but as I reach my trailer I see someone who I never thought would ever cross that bridge and make their way into the Southside. 

"Well well well if it isn't Reggie Mantle" I yell out to him with a smirk walking up to him with crossed arms. "What brings you to the Southside?" 

He stands up straight from his car and smirks back at me with his arms in his pockets "Well desperate times call for desperate measures, don't you think?" He asks me giving me a wicked grin, I raise my eyebrow at him and look at him warily beginning to wonder why he's really here "I'm going to tell you straight up, I want Betty Cooper and you want Jughead Jones, so why don't we get rid of the one thing that unites them?" He asks me

At first I widen my eyes, shocked to hear that but then again he's right so I form a smirk on my face uncrossing my arms and placing a hand on his hood tilting my head to the side "I'm listening Mantle" I simply say.
