"Merlin wake up!"

A groan escaped out of his mouth as his blue eyes slowly opened. He wasn't wanting to wake up but knew he had to. A sigh escaped as he slowly sat up and feeling not that well rested actually. These beds sucked and the hygiene was horrible. But what can you expect when you get reincarnated in the Medieval time? Not much and he wasn't liking this, but there was nothing he could do. A sigh escaped as he shuddered at the nightmare or memory he had. The first time he had met him.

'Let's get this over with..'

He slipped out of the cover changing his clothes hastily. His outfit today was a blue shirt with his red scarf, his brown jacket, dark brown trousers, and some boots. Today was the day he would go to Camelot and he was feeling meh about it. His mother thought it would a great idea to send him there, but with his luck, he felt like it would just end up as an disaster. In this life, he had two gifts. One was his sky flames with the Hyper intuition and another thing he has magic.

Before he even would walk, he was floating things, which was pretty damn cool. But his mother was worried about him because of this and sent him now to Camelot in the hope that he could get this gift in control. He should meet Gaius the brother of his mother, and he wasn't sure how to feel about this, but he went. Because he wasn't wanting to worry about her any longer. Tsuna -or now- called Merlin let out a sigh and stepped outside with his a backpack behind him.

Both ate their breakfast and talk some more, but now it was time for him to leave. He will miss for sure his home and will miss his mother.

"I will miss you, mum."

The female was smiling at him. As she gave him a kiss on his cheeks. His heart fluttered at this. It showed how the female cared for him. This was making him happy and even with him having this gift, she still was loving him. Still had accepted him. It was making him feel happy because he knew that it could have ended differently. Which he had in a few lives. Where his parents abandon him. This showed how kind and how accepting his mother was. Reminded him of Nana his past mother.

"I will as well. Do you have everything? And please try not to use your gift."

She started to nag him about everything and he let out an amused chuckle.

"Mum, I will be fine. Jeez, it's not like I will meet a dragon who I have to fight or something."

He pouted now and his mother let out a sigh and put her hand on his cheeks. Merlin leaned into the touch.

"I know, but you and I know that you land in trouble. I worry about you, and Camelot will do you good."

A sigh escaped as this was so true. Even in his new life, he ended up getting into trouble and he gave up by now. There was not really anything that made life interesting. He just couldn't feel joy in living any longer. Why should he? The person who was destined to love him rejected him in his last life. And even with the words that he heard before his death, wasn't making it believable. Why else would he reject him? He pushed his thoughts about his last death away and turned his attention back to his mother.

"I hope so, mum. I really hope you are right."

She smiled sadly at his dejected tone as this was the first time she heard him like this. Usually, he hid how he felt, but right now he just couldn't have the heart to do this. He had the feeling that his mother knew. That she always knew that he was forcing his smiles sometimes.

"I am sure that you will. Now up you go. It is a long way to Camelot."

He nodded and kissing her on his cheeks now as he smiled at her and starting to make his way towards Camelot.

No young man. No matter how great, can know his destiny.

Merlin was walking around and looking with awe at nature. Everything was green and it felt great to be outside. Maybe it wasn't too bad going to Camelot. Maybe it will help him feel better. Even now he felt the numbness and all he could do was hope. All he could do was believe his mother as he continued his path towards Camelot. It was a long and straining walk, but he was used ot it, but his feet were kind of killing him. These boots were not really the best, but it was all he had. You learned to be grateful for everything you get.
