10.2 Le Morte d'Arthur

"You staying here. I won't let you out of my eyes right now, Tsuna."

His head tilted now as he looked at him in confusion. The other guardians left by now and he was alone with Arthur now.

"You are going to sleep with me in the same bed. I know you by now. You will just overthink things and end up having a nightmare. Takeshi isn't here to calm you down."

This made him nod and Merlin wasn't used sleeping alone. Mordred was always sleeping in the same bed.

"You can borrow some of my clothes."

A sigh came over him and he nodded, not really having the energy to argue again. So he went over to the closet, taking out some clothes and going behind the cover, to change. The clothes he wore were loosely hanging on him -even when they have the same height- his body type was different.

"Let's get to sleep. Oh, and it's strange to see you in your old body."

A chuckle ended up escaping as he slipped under the cover. His body went subconsciously nearer to Arthur, and the said male pulled him into a hug.

"I guess so. Goodnight."

Arthur hummed and soon his eyes dropped.

The morning came quicker then he liked and now he was wearing his clothes again. The hood was once again on him and they were riding towards the cave. There were some of Camelot's knights with them, and as well Hayato. Another person was hidden under the mist flames -Mukuro- the male was responsible to hide his magic. Arthur still hadn't known that he has it. And he really wanted it to stay hidden.

"Here we are."

He nodded and feeling his HI telling him not to go and turning around, but he couldn't listen to it.

"Let's go."

The three started to enter and the knights were going as well but ended up going in a different direction. His HI just buzzed harder now, so that he groaned in pain.

"That bad?"

A shuddered breath was escaping and he gave a curt nod. By now he had his daggers out as holding in front of him.

"Yes, and look at how many bones there are..."

His lips turned into a thin line as he said this in an anxious tone. This was indicated that many people died here and it was freaking him out. No one said anything and his eyes widen as he saw now in front of them the questioning beast. It looked like a massive lizard just with a big scorpion tail. He could barely register the tail and barely managed to parry it with both of his daggers. He was thrown back and slid on the ground.

"Guys stay on guard."

The two nodded at this and a fight broke up. He tried his best to parry the attacks, but he was at some point thrown at the wall. A grimace was felt at this and he fall down. Merlin ended up in a slight daze for a moment. This moment was enough for him to hear a curse. He gasp as he saw Arthur now laying on ground and looming on Arthur. He jumped up on his feet, dashing forward and jumping straight up on the beast. His eyes glowed in golden and he stabbed with full strength down -again and again- even after the beast was down.

Someone's hand stopped him and he saw that it was Hayato. Hands shook, breath shuddered and eyes glancing now up at Hayato. He stood shakingly up and started to walk towards the Arthur. When he was there he crouched down and shaking him. A gasp escaped as he felt blood and with this he knew he got bitten.

"Shit, nonononono!"

He picked him up and starting to dash outside. Even with him looking fragile, he could pick Arthur up with ease.
