Weeks went by as usual. Soo Yun and her friends passed their exams and were happy that they could relax afterwards. Days went by without something special happening. The cats of Mrs. Yung still had to be fed. They were still frightening her, but the job had to be done anyways.

V never came to her sight again.

Sometimes she thought about him, or more, about the crazy two days, he was the reason of. She never talked about it, not to Sarah, neither to Namjoon.
V was like a shadow. A ghost.
She never heard anything from his apartment neither did she see any lights.

Did he move away again? Due to the cringey relationship he had with his neighbor, her? Kai and her had exchanged some words, when they met on the hallway. Namjoon, luckily never was in sight when he was there. It seemed like Kai has settled down in his new school. Soo Yun had seen him with some friends, all unknown to her, but they seemed to have fun.

Soo Yun walked in the door of the canteen of the university. Normally she would be walking in there with Sarah, but she had orchestra practice over lunch. Namjoon had been sick all week, apparently, he catched a cold. But at this time, school has been boring and there were no exams to study for, so Namjoon probably had been skipping his lessons. One week was a lot, but he probably sat at home and played video games.

Soo Yun sat down on one of the seats of a free table. Soo Yun didn't want to sit next to strangers and talk to them. This wasn't her. She disliked small talk, especially with the gossiping brats at her university. Sadly, there were a lot of them.

Soo Yun took out her sandwich and started to eat. She had her headphones on, hearing some music, to distract her. A tap on her shoulder made her turn around in surprise.
A known face showed up next to her. Kai. He sat on the left of her, looking at her and moving his lips. It took Soo Yun some time to get, that he tried to tell her something. Due to her headphones, she didn't understand a word.

She took off her Headphones and let them hang on her neck. „Huh?"

Kai laughed, now audible for Soo Yun. „Hey, you're alone?"

„Yeah, or do you see someone else?"
She turned around, jokingly looking for another person.

„So were feeling funny today?" He grinned.

Soo Yun sighed deeply and supported her head on her palm. „No, just very bored." Which was the truth. Soo Yun had been bored for the last three day and she didn't know what to do against it.

Kai nodded and looked at her, eyeing her up. Why dont we do something against it?

Soo Yun frowned her forehead. „We?"
She didn't know if she liked him saying the word we in meaning them both or not.

„Yes. As in, you and me." He put his finger alternating on her and him. „Im bored too and you seem like fun."

Soo Yun nodded and thought that the idea was better than sitting around and listening to the same playlist all over again. „Alright. Do you have anything in mind?"

„There is a new bar near the university. What if we and your friends and some of mine went drinking tonight?"

„Drinking, on a Tuesday?" Soo Yun asked skeptically.

Kai looked at her with a judging face. „Do you want to be the party killer?"

Soo Yun doubted the brilliantness of this idea. But then on the other hand, it was okay if she was hangover the next day, because she could skip anyways. Why not have some fun? Sarah would love to go out anyways and Namjoon would come too, if she begged enough.

„Okay, Ill ask Namjoon and Sarah if they want to. Sarah will agree to drinking anyways." She let out with a breath, a cocky smile on her face, knowing that she will be having fun tonight.

Kai helt his hand out for a high-five and Soo Yun went in for it. „Tonight, it is! I knew I could rely on you."

Kai stood up and turned around to walk away, as he remembered to say something. „Ahh...Soo Yun!"

„What is it?" Soo Yun asked.

„Apologize for me to your boyfriend that I approached you without knowing, if you were free or not. I really had no bad intentions." He blurted out with a smile and walked away, taking big steps.

Soo Yun chocked on her water. „Boyfriend?"

Did Kai think that Namjoon was her boyfriend? „Of course, he had to!"

By the way Namjoon had dragged her out of that library, hand in hand, everyone mustve been thinking that they were a couple. Why would people always think of them as a couple?

This misunderstanding must be brought out of the way as sudden as possible. Namjoons protectiveness could easily be misunderstood as jealousy. Laughing at her thoughts, Soo Yun finished her meal and walked out of the filled room, when it was time for class. She would text the others and ask them if they would come.

SY: Guys what about hanging out in the bar today?

N: Us three?

SY: Us, and some other people 😊

S: I knew I could rely on my babe!

N: What other people?

SY: You'll see

N: I don't know, I still feel a bit sick

S: Well cheer you up

The work was done. Namjoon was convinced. Although, Soo Yun felt bad, that she assumed that Namjoon skipped school, even though he really was sick. She would talk to him later and apologize.

Now she only had to go through the last three lessons and then she'd be free.

Just when she wanted to put her phone back into her pocket of her pants, it rang. An unknown number showed up. Who was that? Her mind went through all the faces that couldve had a reason to call her and from who she hadnt saved the number. It hit her. „It could be V, right?" He must've found her agenda or something at her flat and found her number. She pressed the green button and held her phone on her ear.

„Hello?"

„Hi Soo Yun, its me Kai."
„Oh. Kai." Soo Yun left out a disappointed breath, that she didnt know she was holding. So V still was gone.

„Hey." She said monotonal.

„Are you mad or something?" Kai must've thought that her monotone voice was his fault.

„Nah, just tired." Soo Yun said. Somehow this was always her excuse.

„Tell your friends to meet up at 8 in front of the bar. Ill send you the address."

Kai was a very straight forward person, Soo Yun noticed. But she liked it, other than Namjoon, she didnt have to ask him about everything until he told her. My friends are on. She informed him.

Nice. See you later. And by that he hung up. Soo Yun saved his number under his Name and went on with her classes.
