Long chapter following, but I hope it's interesting to read:)
Soo Yun could feel her lungs burning. Her cough had gotten worse and she was sure she had a fever. The sweat on her forehead told her so. And the fact that her head was spinning all the time. It could've also been due to the lack of food and water.
She hadn't eaten anything and drunken only a few glasses of water in her time she spent in this hole.
She had figured out, why they didn't give her any food. They wanted her to be as weak as possible, so she wouldn't be annoying in any way. And did it work? Yes. She didn't even have the strength to talk properly. All she could do is sitting on this chair with tied on legs and hands. Feeling numb everywhere. The only thing that let her know that her body was still alive, were the cold shudders that ran through her body. This place had no heating system, of course. Which didn't help her fever at all.
She lowkey gave up. What could she do? Nothing. She could just sit there and slowly die. In front of these two guards, that probably wouldn't even care about it.Just as she wondered where the guards were, the door opened up. The guards had had left some time before and didn't return since. The two men came back, but their bodies had covered another person. A tall, slender man. He only didn't seem so tall, due to the massive bodyguards. He stepped to the front and as soon as he got into Soo Yun's sight, she opened her eyes widely. It was no one other than... Jongin.
He stepped in front of her, his boots clacking on the hard ground. He had a similar attire as before, in the mansion. The same leather jacket and the same slicked back hair. His gaze seemed more intimidating here in the dark, or maybe it was because Soo Yun's mind was playing crazy. But his wicked smile for sure wasn't a hallucination.
"Hello Sweetie. Haven't seen you for a long time." He mocked her while eyeing her face.Soo Yun couldn't answer, and if she could've, she wouldn't wanted to. Pure rage was what she held onto him.
"I must say, you look a bit outworn." He laughed under his breath. Soo Yun would've wanted to slapp him so hard. "No shit, sherlock."Jongin stepped near to her. His gaze set on hers. He reached for her chin and held it firmly. Turning her head from one side to the other, to take a look at her.
"I knew Taehyung would be too dumb to actually follow my suggestion." He shrugged his shoulders. "And your mother too dumb to actually pay your dad.""My mother?" Soo Yun's breath hitched. What would they want from her mother? Her mother had to pay for her? So, that meant, that she was here until someone would pay for her. "But mom has nothing she could pay with."
"Look Soo Yunie, I myself don't know what your father wants from your mom. But seems like he still has a score to settle with her." He took a strand from her hair into his hands and played with it. Soo Yun felt disgusted. How could anyone make jokes while seeing someone hurt so badly? This man was the definition of disgust.
Soo Yun tried to move in her chair. Trying to escape the firm grip of the hated man. But she couldn't move even slightly. And in the end, she only received a annoyed look form Jongin.
"You are strong to still have any power left after fasting for five days. Tell me, aren't you hungry?"
He stepped back and walked through the room, which let Soo Yun calm herself a bit.
"Today I had a very, very delicious lunch. I ate probably the best ramen you could get in Seoul. It was so steamy and juicy, and the spices were magnificent. You know what I'm talking about?""Anyways, I'm not that happy that my boss sent me to watch over you. I have better to do than looking if some stupid bitch is slowly dying or not." He looked angrily at Soo Yun, as if it were her fault.
"In the end, it is your mother's fault if you die or not." He again stepped forwards, squatting down to her face. His breath tickled her nose. "At least you have some time to think while rotting in this cave. Have a good day."
By that he stood up and walked towards the metal door.
