Soo Yun was on her way to her first class of the day, when she heard a very known voice behind her. It belonged to no one else than to her male best friend, Namjoon.

"Hey Soo Yun, wait for me!" He yelled while taking big steps to catch up. Soo Yun stopped walking and turned herself around. Namjoon was only five steps away from her, in his usual looking.

His white converse high shoes, that weren't white anymore. Wearing a normal pair of jeans and on top a cream-colored coat that reached to his knees.

In his humongous bag, that hung down on his shoulder, is his architecture equipment. He carried his bag everywhere he goes. Architecture will not only be his profession in the future, but it is definitely his passion.

As he catched up, they walked together in the direction of the entrance. All the other students were gathering in front of the enormous building. On a Monday morning just like now, the people were talking about either their weekends or the fact that next week the final examines will be occurring.

As Namjoon and Soo Yun have spent their weekend together, they didn't have much to catch up.

"So, have you already started to study for the examine next week." Soo Yun asked Namjoon interested.

"Well there's not much to study for, since we only have to submit a project that will amount to the final grade." Namjoon answered with a sly smirk, knowing that he was the lucky one out of the two of them.

"So unfair!" Soo Yun sighed.

In the hallway of the building, they split their ways and went to their auditorium. Soo Yun sat down in the back of the seats. She put her bag on a seat next to her, so that Sarah would find a place when she would arrive. As expected, Sarah was late. Sarah was the type of person, who comes late to class every second time. Soo Yun was used to help Sarah out, so she wouldnt get catched by the professors. Because of that she always takes the seats in the back of the room, so that the teachers hopefully wont notice, if one of their students is barging in in the middle of the lesson.

The Teacher, Mr.Lee, stood in front of his desk and looked at his students. Not even a second later, the bell rang, and the lesson shall be started.

As Mr. Lee started to explain the key message of Shakespeares Hamlet, Sarahs head stuck out of the classrooms door. With practiced knowledge, Sarah was able to close the door behind her, without producing any noise. Silently sitting down, she asked Soo Yun: "Hey, whats up?"

Nothing really, Mr.Lee just started to explain the meanings behind Hamlet. Soo Yun answered, without even turning her head in the direction of her best friend.

The lesson was boring as always. But Soo Yun was certain that it isn't the topic, that didn't interest her, but more the tiring professor. Soo Yun tried to pay attention to the class but got distracted by Sarah next to her.

"What do you think about us going to the Soju bar tonight?"

Soo Yun shook her head in disapproval and focused on the blackboard again. She couldn't concentrate for long, due to the hitting of Sarahs arm on hers. Sarah tried to get Soo Yuns attention and Soo Yun knew exactly why. It was always the same. Sarah tried to persuade her to go drinking at least three times a week. Soo Yun wasn't the person to be the fun spoiler, but the Essay, that was due this Friday, and the exam coming next week were frightening her.

As she couldn't hold her nerves back, she hissed at her friend: "Sarah! I wont go drinking with you and you know exactly why!"

Sarah rolled her eyes and let the topic be for now.

As usual they walked to their spot at the school cafeteria, where they waited for Namjoon.

Namjoon didn't take more than five minutes to come and so they sat together and started eating.

"Namjoon? Would you come with me to the Soju bar? You know Soo Yun is too much of a nerd to come with me." Sarah asked Namjoon with a glaring side eyeing to Soo Yun.

Soo Yun offendedly hit her friend with her eating sticks and snorted: "What? No. Maybe you should care about your grades a bit more."

Namjoon sighed and said calmly: Girls, would you please not act like that. And Sarah, yes, Ill come with you. But you should really care about your grades more.

As always Namjoon played the mother of their group, splitting the bickering girls.

Sarah high fived Namjoon, when she heard that Namjoon would go with her. Soo Yun just laughed on the behaving of her friends and carried on eating her kimchi. It was the kimchi that her mom made for her. Every twice a month, her mother sended her a package of homemade food. What her mom didn't know was, that half of her food would go to her friends fridge. Mostly to Namjoon's.

Cooking wasn't his strength and you could see that of his lunch decisions.

Black bean ramen.

"Namjoon. Where is the kimchi and the meat from my mom, that I gave you?" Soo Yun asked, seeing her friend stuffing his, way too hot, ramen into his mouth.

"Oi oredy ae oll oviff." He answered.

The girls gave him confused looks.

"I already ate all of it." Namjoon said after he swallowed his noodles.

Sarah was still confused: "How? Its been only a week since she gave you the food."

"So what?" I was hungry. Namjoon said a bit offended.

"Whatever. Just know that I won't be able to give you restock 'till in a bit more than a week." Soo Yun said, munching her rice.

Later the friends disconnected and went their separate ways. The lunch break still hasn't finished, but they decided to seperate a bit earlier. This time Sarah and Soo Yun weren't together anymore. Sarah was in the school orchestra and had to practice for the new concert, while Namjoon went back to the architecture studio to keep on working on his project.

Soo Yun walked around in the hallways and listened to her favorite songs on Spotify. Remembering that she had to learn her English vocabulary. She still needed to learn 200 words until next Friday, which was a big pain in the ass. She knew that English was an important language, especially for getting a job in an international entertainment.

But words like "pickpocket" were just weird. It wasn't just hard to spell them, but it also sounded gibberish.

She was strongly concentrated on her word cards, when she heard a ring tone ringing out of her jeans pocket. It was a text from Mrs.Yung, her Chairwoman. Every time that woman calls her or texts her, there won't be good in the near future.

Soo Yun asked herself: "Did I pay my rental fee?"

She was sure that she did pay it on Friday. "But what else could it be?"

Opening her phone, the text message appeared on her lock screen:

Hello Ms. Min. I wanted to inform you, that today a new neighbor moved in. As Im in my holidays in Bangkok right now, I will hand you over the duty of helping him to settle in.

This is the end of the first part of the story.
