It was breathtaking.
Well, to Victoria it was.
After waiting for eleven years, Victoria Silvers had finally be accepted to Hogwarts. Like her older brother, Avalon was, and how her younger sister Dove will be when it is her time. The Hogwarts express let out a fierce screech as a ten-minute warning. Victoria followed her brother with her cart full of anything and everything you could possibly need. Her brother had found some of his friends and was catching up with them. Over the summer holiday he had gotten many letters Victoria hopped she would be the same.
"Now, check to make sure you have all of your things." Victoria's mother told her as she stood behind her daughter, her gaze was set on a family that probably didn't agree with what the Silvers believed in, since she was looking at them in disgust. She whispered something to Victoria's father before he nodded with her. Victoria ignored them, checking her bags to make sure they were all there.
"Do you have your wand?" Her father asked, turning away from the family and to his daughter. Victoria pulled it out of her robe pocket, showing off the wand. It was a eleven inch Rosewood wand with unicorn tail hair and a good amount of flexibility. She stared at it, remembering what the shopkeeper, Ollivander, had told her.
"I see great things in you, Victoria Silvers. That wand will do, great things."
She didn't know what that meant, but she didn't dwell on it. She couldn't. The absolutely gorgeous owl in the cage sitting on top of Victoria's trunk screeched, causing Victoria's mother to roll her eyes. "I don't understand why you had to get an owl. You could have just used your brothers. Especially if he's going to be writing from the same place as you."
Victoria came from a long line of purebloods, and an even longer line of Slytherins. So, it wouldn't be surprising if she was sorted into Slytherin. No, she corrected herself. When she was sorted into Slytherin. Not if.
"She's beautiful, mother. How could I not want such a beautiful creature?" Victoria asked, she then swatted her sister's hand away from the cage. "Stop it, Dove."
The train whistle blew once more, causing her brother to turn and call her. "C'mon, we haven't got all day."
"Alright, bloody hell. Goodbye mother, father." She kissed them both on the cheek. "I'll write to you tomorrow morning!"
"Goodbye, dear. Yes, write to us then!"
There was no, 'we love you' or 'have a great year!' Unlike the other families, Victoria walked passed. The Silvers were... more professional than that. Victoria began boarded the train, bumping into someone on the way.
"Oh, sorry," Victoria turned around seeing the boy. He shrugged. "It's alright." Victoria heard her brother turn and laughed, looking at the boy's older brother.
"Ah. Percy Weasley, still at Hogwarts again? I'm surprised you haven't been kicked out, you and that brother of yours." Avalon smirked, glaring at the red-headed boy who stood tall.
