"Here," y/n said holding a glass of water out to the pale boy next to her.
He took the gods and hyped down the street after as if he hadn't drank in weeks.

"Thank you." He said curtly, wiping his chin and returning the glass.
"I don't know why I'm poorly all of a sudden."
Y/n frowned at him, shaking her head as she poured the medicine from the bottle and onto a spoon, gingerly letting him take it.

"Well, you ripped half of your souls out I'd be concerned if it didn't make you sick." She took the spoon and set it on the tray once more, pushing his messy curls from his face with her fingers, only for it to fall back to where it was.
"You should take it easy, but I need to go see Dumbledore, but you should probably stay here."

Tom gave a small frown before nodding. "Alright then," he watched as y/n stood and put her robes back on and walked to the door of the room of requirements.

"I'll come back soon." She grinned at him before exiting the room, leaving him with his thoughts.

Y/n closed the door with a heaving sigh, pressing her forehead to the door, feeling it disappear beneath her skin and become a stone wall once again.

Catch a grip, hurry up. She stoop straight again and continued to walk down the hall, taking all the twists and turn and stairs until she reached Dumbledore's office.

She brought her fist up to knock, only for a muffled voice to call out.
"Come in!"

Smiling and shaking her head, she pushes open the door and stepped inside, closing it behind her.

"Where have you been?" Dumbledore asked, eyebrow raised. "You and Mr Riddle didn't show up for the remainder of yesterday's or today's classes."

It took a moment to register in her mind, but y/n soon realised that she and Tom had been in the Room Of Requirements for at least twenty hours.

Fuck she thought to herself, eyebrows furrowing together.
"Tom and I fell asleep in the coming and going room..."

Dumbledore raised both eyebrows before sighing. "I won't ask anything of what you were doing-" he started, making y/n gasp dramatically, holding an offended hand out in front of her.

"UhM, no, not on my Christian minecraft sever." Dumbledore, not having any idea what a minecraft server was, just laughed.

"Yes well, the culprit, of the attack on Miss Myrtle Warren has been expelled and his wand snapped." Y/n furrowed her brows in confusion at his declaration.

"But Tom-" Dumbledore stood from his chair behind his desk.

"Tom came to us yesterday to tell us about how he caught one, Rubius Hagrid with a deadly creature and has since taken care of it, and will be getting an award for his heroics."

Y/n's jaw dropped upon hearing those words.
Hagrid? HAGRID?! She yelled to herself. OH TOM US SO GETTING AN ASS WHOOPIN.

Tom sighs as the room around him changes into the same setting as what he uses for his Death Eater meetings, a large table with several chairs around it.

Y/n had left to go speak with Dumbledore about whatever they talk about together, he didn't know what.
But he was currently sat at the head of the table awaiting his group of followers that would soon be without a dictator.

He was dizzy, feeling sickly and as pale as parchment, so pale you could see the veins in his face. His eyes half lidded and blood shot and his hands shaking.
He wasn't nervous or anxious, but he was sick, that much he and y/n new. But he would rest after.

"We have arrived." A chorus of voices announced. "Our Lord."
Tom's jaw tensed when he heard them say that.
He liked it when they called him that, if he was honest, when they addressed him as a higher being than them, but he would have to give it up. For her.

"Sit." He commanded, watching as they all rushed to sit in the same places they had assigned themselves, all looking toward him with curious eyes.

"Are you sick, my Lord?" Abraxus asked, a glint of worry in his eye.

"Making a horcrux probably made him weary." Lestrange answered in Tom's place. "Now why did you call us here?"

Scowling at the demanding tone Lestrange used, Tom held back a snide retort.
"I have something crucial, to talk about." He spoke, his words hovering in the air, getting everyone intrigued.

He licked his lips quickly, glancing around everyone at the table before taking a deep breath.

"I'm resigning."
