Ch 16 Jack turns 18!

I realized its always the small things that make you fall for someone. The way they laugh. The way their eyes shine when they see their favorite food. The way they smirk while being cheeky. The way they pull themselves together. Their puffy eyes after they cried and also their pouted lips when they are angry. Them being stubborn about the smallest things to them not caring about important stuff. It's the small things that matter. When you fall for someone, all their flaws seem to disappear. They just seem so perfect. I have found my flawless person. Even with all her imperfections and flaws, my lioness was perfect for me.

Now it was lunch at school and I was waiting for Mike and Mathew. Robin and Peter had some work and told me they won't be here today. Suddenly I see that 'queen B' of Jeff high walking towards me.

"Hello Jackson," she said in a sultry voice. "Its just Jack, Vanessa," I said annoyed. I really didn't like such girls who are touchy and flirty with someone without even knowing them, Hell, she doesn't even know my name.

Vanessa Timber was the school's most popular girl, probably because of her face full of makeup and dresses that don't seem to have enough cloth. Her blonde length was of a stupid length and her heels too long. She never spoke to me before even though we had Spanish together.

"Jack, I hear you have been around Miss. Freak for a while now" she says scrapping her nails on my shoulder. "Who?" I asked, even though I knew she was talking about Scar. I hate it when someone calls her that. They would shit their pants if they know who she is.

"The school freak, Scarlett Mac. I suggest you stay away, she is a freak and you will turn into one too," she says in a duh tone.

"Vanessa, can you please buzz off. I am not in the mood. And if you call her a freak again with that fake mouth of yours, you will have a cracked nose. So you can leave now." I say moving her aside going to a table to sit.

"oh, you wouldn't hit a girl would you now Jacky," she says in the most irritating tone. God, I wish so much I could punch her fake ass face. "Who said I would be the one hitting you?" I smirked and she left annoyed.

Of course, I won't raise a hand on women. Mum taught me better than that. My lioness would do that for me. Maybe? And speaking of her, I was going to visit her after school. That thought made butterflies erupt in my stomach. This all feels so weird but good at the same time.

I went home and rushed to see Scar. Ringgg. No response. Ringg. No response. "Scarletttttt" I yelled. "heyyy" I saw her at opening the door. "What took you so long?" I say getting in.

"I was..umm.. I was in the shower." She said not looking at me. I knew that was a lie cause she didn't look like she ran out of the shower. What was she doing? "Really?" I ask raising an eyebrow. "yeah..yeah, can you please put fur's food in his bowl. He must be hungry. I'll be down in 2 mins" saying that she ran to her room.

I saw fur asleep near the kitchen counter. "Hey buddy, its meal time" I patted his back and he jolted up, happy to see me. I poured him food and he finished it in a single go.  "Scar, what are you doing?" I went up and knocked her door.

"Do not come in." she said in a hurry. "What are you hiding from me mi amore? I am coming in at the count of three." I say smirking. "Jack no. I.. i.. I am not decent. I am changing. Wait outside for 2mins" she shouts. Why would she change now?

"I am waiting down. Come fast. I have to talk to you about something" I say as I go down.

Its been 5mins and she hasn't come yet. I hear her feet running down the stairs. I looked over and she was wearing the same thing. I didn't want to force her to tell me anything, so I didn't ask about it.
