It's been a week and half since Ace's surgery. Everything was going good and we were all happy. Ace was recovering well and was in good hands for sure. Mum stayed with Ace most of the time now which is cute cause he loves her just as much
School had also begun but Scar and Mike said they would come from next week. And prom was in 2 weeks.
"So when are you gonna ask Scarlett for prom?" Mathew asked bringing me out of my thoughts. "Day after tomorrow and I need a little help too," I said looking at the guys.
Peter had asked his girlfriend Eva out already. Mathew asked out a girl who he had a crush on since like forever. And Robin is going with his boyfriend. I was the only one who didn't ask Scar yet.
"What do you need?" Peter asked stuffing his mouth with mac and cheese. "I need you guys to come to the hospital day after tomorrow, with a few things," I said and explained the plan.
I planned differently before but now with Ace at the hospital, I had to improvise. But I am sure she will like it. I hope she will like it and say yes.

"Omg, you guys are so adorable, I wish someone planned to ask me to prom like that" Autumn said as I told her and Ace the plan. Everyone had to do their part so that everything will come together perfectly.
"Ace are you sure you can do it?" I asked again. He is healing and better but I don't want him to risk anything.
"Yeah man, I am perfectly good. I can do it, don't worry" He said smiling.

The day had come quicker than expected and thankfully everything was ready. Everyone knew what to do and Mike was with Scar to ensure she comes at the right time.
"Trust me man, she will lose her mind after this" Mathew said as we got into the car to go to the hospital. I just smile back at him.

Scar's POV
Everything was going. Ace was getting well quick and we were all back to happy. I am pretty sure Jonah is staying more with Ace than at her house. She loves him a lot.
I had to go back to school on Monday, which was in 2 days. As much as Jack assured me that it would be not as bad as I was thinking and he would be there, there was still a part me that didn't want to go.
Jack had been going to school since last week. He insisted on staying with us but Ace sent him to school.
I was on my way to the hospital now with Mike. Usually, Jack gets me back there after school but today he was stuck with something at school so Mike has to drive me back.
We reached the hospital and Mike was behaving weird. He was unusually quiet. I shrugged that thought away and went towards Ace's room.
I looked through the window and saw all the lights off, why was he sleeping now?
I opened the door and heard a guitar tune. I couldn't see who was playing because everything was dark. What was happening? Suddenly I heard a voice on the hospital speaker.
"Hello everybody, I am Jack Ritz and I am so in love with a girl" I heard Jack's voice and then the wall lit up with a projected photo of us. I noticed Ace with the guitar and Autumn with a remote for the projector I guess. The pictures kept changing.
"She makes me happy, she makes me angry, she makes me excited and god does she make me turned on, She is a fighter and a good one. She makes me proud. She is my lioness and I plan on being with her for the rest of my life. Even though she can be a pain the ass sometimes" His voice said. I was still in shock, what was all this? And I can't believe he said that on the speaker.
Our pictures were getting changed slowly. I noticed now there was picture of me sleeping in his arms and he had my hair as a mustache.
"But no matter what she does, she makes me fall harder in love with her every day." I heard the voice again but this time not from the speaker but from behind me.
I turned around and saw Jack in a suit and his friends and Mike who I didn't notice when he left my side. They all held out cutouts.
Will. You. Go to. Prom. With. Me?
I had forgotten about prom. It totally slipped my mind and him doing this made my heart melt.
He came towards me and held my hand. "Scarlett Mac, would you go to prom with me?" He said kneeling down. If that didn't make anyone say yes, I don't know what would.
But I decided to tease him a bit even though he just melted my heart down.
"I don't know, what do you guys think?" I asked smugly looking at him, friends. They all burst out laughing.
"Scar go with him. He made us do this freaking 7 times before you came." Peter said eagerly.
I looked at Jack who was still kneeled down with a nervous look on his face. I could never say no to that face and neither did I plan on telling no.
"I would love to sunshine," I said pulling him up and connecting our lips. I heard aww's from around the room.
We chuckled and pulled apart.

"Did you like it?" Jack asked after everyone left and it was just us in the corridor.
"Like it? I loved it, baby. I couldn't ask for anything better" I said.
We were happy, and everything was perfect. I have a family who loves me. I have good friends and a great guy. I couldn't ask for anything more. I finally loved my life. Sometimes we just need people to be with us.
