Ch 26 Stupid Boy

Scar's POV

There I sat outside that idiot's room. I knew he was inside. I just couldn't come up with the courage the go see him. I don't know what to say. I just sat there.

I could hear Mike yelling at him. I didn't want that. No one yells at Acey! Soon I heard the door open. My heart stopped. I just looked out the window. I knew he came out. I have known him for this long that I can feel when he is around and also that stupid perfume of his!

I looked at the wall opposite me. He came beside me and sighed and then sat on the floor beside me. We were quiet for a while. No one said anything. But I was relieved that we found him.

"I know saying sorry won't solve anything Scar! But you know how much I hate the silent treatment" Ace said all of a sudden and tears fell from my eyes that I didn't know I was holding back.

"You are a stupid idiotic piece of shit," I said between sobbing. I was sobbing at this point. He stood up and kneeled down in front of me. I didn't look at him yet, our eyes didn't meet.

"Scar don't cry. Not for me please" he pleaded in a tone that made me cry more. I looked at him and he immediately pulled me towards him and hugged me as tight as he could. Like if he would leave me I would disappear.
I missed him.

"I am so so sorry Scar! I didn't mean to hurt you. I just couldn't see you worried and upset because of me" he said and I could feel my shoulder getting wet.  "You moron! How did you think I would react if you were gone! And what was that stupid letter? Seriously you left me with a fucking letter and that locket?" I cried to him.

"You thought I would just forget about you and go on, living a happy life, even though deep down I know that my friend.. my...my Best friend was out there somewhere, in pain" I cried even more.

"Please don't leave me. Please. I need you. I need Acey who will kick ass for me and with me. I need the person who made me who I am today. Please" I sobbed into his shoulder and he held me tighter.

"We can't do anything now, it's just too late. My days are numbered and you should understand it. I may not see tomorrow for all I care and you people are here trying to get me back" he said as soon as we went inside his room.

Mike stood there, his eyes red and Jack just looked at Ace like he was out of his mind. I clung on the Ace's arm like my life depended on it. Like he would just go away again if I leave him.

"Shut your mouth, please. No one asked you what you care about. Now just pack your stuff and we are leaving in 30mins" Jack said and that's the first time I saw him speak to anyone in that manner. He was angry, and ticked off.

"No, I can't leave. I need you guys to just let me stay here for the rest of my days." Ace said sitting down and I sat down with him still holding his arm like a child. I was getting angry too now.

"You have a  home there, I swear if you don't pack now I will drag your ass outta here and all the way back home." It was Mike who said that.

"Mum is waiting to whoop your ass as soon as we get you back so chop-chop and pack up!" Jack said and left the room along with Mike.

"Ace" and I was interrupted by him hugging me again. "I will come back," he said all of the sudden and I hugged him back too. "But you have to promise me not to worry about me. I will live my days to the fullest and not regret making you upset" he said and I nodded.

Ace didn't have much stuff so packing was quick. Mike and Jack already told Luce about him leaving. Ace and I went down and Luce came out of his garage to send off Ace.

"I know you told me not to tell anyone kid, but that chick there is feisty and I couldn't say no," Luce said pointing as me and we all laughed. For the first time in a while.

"I know I haven't been the father you wanted or even needed kid but I always knew that I had a son out there who will not disappoint me," Luce said hugging Ace. "I don't know if I will be able to visit you again and thank you very much for letting me stay father," Ace said a let go of him.

Then Luce came towards me and extended his hand forward. "Luce Lenon, I don't think I officially introduced myself," he said and I shook his hand "Scarlett Mac," I said and he nodded. "Talk care my little guy there and save him please," Luce said in a low tone so that only I could hear him. For a moment I thought he would tear up. "I promise Mr. Lenon, I will do everything I can" and then we left.

Jack's POV

The ride home was quiet. I thought Scar would sit with Ace but she sat with me in the back and Ace sat upfront. She held onto my arm tight and fell asleep on my shoulder. Her eyes were puffed from all the crying and it broke my heart.

We reached home late. It was almost 3 in the morning, but the lights were still on. I knew mum wouldn't sleep. I called her up and told me that we are getting Ace back.

As soon as our car pulled over my front door opened and I saw my mother rushing to us. Scar was still asleep so I lifted her and bought her out the car. I saw Ace hugging my mother.

"Stupid boy! How could you leave me to handle these kids here?" My mum said crying and Ace just hugged her back. "I missed you Jonah" Ace said letting him of her. "I missed you too sweetie. Now come in and rest, it's been a long ride. Jacky, you put her to bed and come back. Ace will stay in your room" mum said and I agreed.

"Jonah it's fine, I can stay with Mike, his room is big enough." Ace says and Mike nods. "I don't even know when Mike cleaned his room last, so no! And everyone at the breakfast table at 10 sharp" she said and went inside.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning okay. And don't wake her up." Ace said and I nodded. Mike already went inside. "We will handle everything Ace, you just be with us okay," I say and he nods and goes inside.

I placed Scar on her bed but leaving her was hard cause she had a death grip on my arm. I just laid there beside her and soon she was softly snoring and her grip loosened. I slowly left the house and went to mine. Ace was already asleep on the mattress on the floor and I too fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed.
