There she went, the girl of his dreams, Aruta, she was a beautiful Zora enchantress, a mermaid, a siren, an absolute queen. To everyone else, she was the innkeeper's daughter, but to him, no one could compare to her. He loved her, and she barely even knew him.

But, Miko had a secret weapon, music. Aruta sang a few songs for his band, and her voice was breathtaking as she sang the words he wrote. Today was the day he would confess his love, he would serenade her with a love song, and everything would be fine, they would leave and walk off into the sunset.

He stood by an old stone monument in the back of Zora's domain when she walked by. She glanced at him as he pulled out his guitar.

He strummed a chord and cleared his throat, "Aruta" he sang

She stopped in her tracks and looked at him.

He strummed another chord, "Ever since I first saw you" he strummed, "I felt my heart spring for you" he vocalized a bit on that last word, and strummed another chord, "I'm your prince waiting for you," another chord, "You're my everything... I'm your hero...." His fingers plucked the guitar a bit faster now, "Aruta.... Ah-ruta... ah" he sang with a delicate voice.

He was about to sing the next few lyrics when Aruta spoke up.

"Miko," she said softly, "As nice as that is, I— no,"

No? What?

"I don't care for you," she said, her voice a bit more confident now, "I barely even know you,"

Miko felt heartbroken, after he had gone through the trouble of writing a song for her? She was the girl of his dreams! And she just turned him down like that? His guitar fell a little as he slackened his arms.

"I'm— I'm really sorry," she said nervously and hurried away.

Miko sighed. He didn't understand. He was the Zora Prince, he had a band, he was a badass, how could no one want to date him? He'd been turned down five times in the past year. Was there something wrong with him?

He didn't have long to mourn his eternal singlehood before he heard horses approaching. Hylians? No, Gerudo? What were the Gerudo doing coming all the way here?

He made his way to the throne room where he joined his father waiting for the band of Gerudo.

It was a group of around 5 Gerudo women, the one in the lead looked a little older than the rest, maybe middle aged.

This lead of the group bowed before Cerulean, the King of the Zora, Miko's father.

"My name is Kesair, the Chief of the Gerudo, Aadil, has been gathering the best warriors from across the world in order to prevent the situation in Hyrule Castle from getting any worse,"

Hyrule Castle?

"What is the situation in Hyrule Castle?" Cerulean said, "Other than the King and Queen's disappearance,"

"I don't know much, not as much as the Chief does, but a man with very powerful magic has stepped up to rule," Kesair said, standing there very respectably.

His father looked a little disturbed at the news, but believed her all the same, "So you want me to send one of my people to the desert? You understand why I'm hesitant to do so,"

Kesair nodded, "We would be happy to provide any accommodations, whatever that may be,"

Cerulean looked conflicted. There was the obvious suicide of sending an aquatic race to a place void of all moisture, but also because of this warrior they were searching for. Miko had trained himself quite well with a trident, and the thought of leaving for some kind of adventure sounded exhilarating to him, but there had to be better warriors in Zora's Domain.
