Miko stood before one of the waterfalls around Zora's Domain. Did he look okay? His father had forced him to wear the official royal garb, several intricate silver jewelry pieces, one wrapping around his neck, one headpiece sort of thing, a belt kind of thing, shoulder pad things, along with a long blue sash. Luckily, Miko had also gotten a full sleeve of tattoos over his right arm recently — after all of the battles — from the bassist in his band as a 'welcome back' gift. Strapped over his back was his guitar as always. He took another glance at his tattoos, and as usual, he couldn't help but grin. He looked back at his reflection in the water and nodded at himself. He's got this, why would he ever be nervous about this?

It couldn't be long until he got here. Miko rushed back, diving into the water and swimming until he reached one of the waterfalls that streamed from Zora's Domain, acting as an elevator of sorts. He swam up the waterfall, and flipped over, landing on his feet on the first level of Zora's Domain. He started running for the bridge that led into the domain when a hand suddenly grabbed him and held him back.

"Miko! H- hey!" he turned around and Aruta, the singer that he had tried to charm so long ago, she flashed a dazzling smile at him, "I— I've been wondering if we could talk. I know you must be so busy, with being a Champion and all, but—"

"Sorry, Aruta, I've gotta go—"

"See, Miko, I—" she swayed nervously from foot to foot, "I think I love you!"

Miko stood a few steps back in shock, "You love me?"

She smiled brightly at him again, "Yes, I do!"

He blinked several times, not quite understanding what was happening.

"I know I brushed you off last time we talked, but ever since then I can't help it, I have become so enamored with you. You fill my dreams with happiness, my heart has been bursting to tell you,"

Now waves of panic were starting to rush through his mind.

"Right, so, Aruta," He froze again, trying to figure out the best way to tell her, "You know, it has been a very busy few months, and I've discovered things about myself that I didn't know before—"

"Uh huh," she smiled, obviously not taking in a word he was saying.

"Anyways, what I'm trying to say is—" he paused again, watching her lovestruck eyes, "I don't like girls,"

Aruta didn't even comprehend it.

"What do you mean you don't like girls?" she laughed, "Of course you do! That's kind of the way things are,"

Miko cringed, "No. No, actually my boyfriend is on his way here,"

Her smile was finally beginning to fall, "No... no, but you— you told me, you love me!"

"Yeah, but that a while ago,"

"It's only been three months!"

"Really? Feels like years,"

Her smile had finally dropped into a frown and tears emerged in her eyes, "I can't believe you! You lied to me! I thought you loved me back!" She sniffed violently, "I hate you Miko!"

He blinked rapidly, she was just talking about how much she loved him and now she hated him?

"I'm... sorry?"

"You ruined everything!" She screamed, and then ran away.

Miko sighed, finally. He directed his attention back to the bridge and started hurrying towards it again. Now he could see a dark skinned figure dressed in white at the far side of it. He smiled wider and ran.
