She'd missed again, her arrow had shot straight through Aadil's thigh, not his chest.

She saw Zariah and Aadil both turn around as she landed. It didn't matter, she'd shoot him now, she wouldn't miss when her arrow was right next to his head.

"Corvus!" she looked over as Zariah shouted her name, the little girl looked devastated.

"What the hell are you doing?" her attention snapped back to Aadil, who said the words so viciously, his voice was lined with absolute fury, she had never seen or heard him so malicious.

"I'm doing what I have to," she said, drawing the bow back even further, her arms straining.

"Corvus?" the name was said so delicately, so genuinely confused. She looked up and Jira stood there, just having rushed through her army. Strands of her white hair swayed in her face, she stood tall and strong, two blades in her hands, covered in sweat and blood, her scarlet eyes widened in surprise and confusion, "What are you doing?"

For the first time since striking a deal with Bahuma, she felt regret.

Bahuma stood before her at the mountain-side house, looking more perplexed than anything, and was about two seconds before having her arrow through his head.

"What do you want?" she asked furiously, her bow drawn as far back as she could.

"I want to talk," he said, waving his hand. Her bow and quiver vanished.

"Give them back," she demanded, her hands in fists, "You have no idea what that bow means to me,"

"Of course, I would never keep you from your bow, especially when I have such a need for your talents," he said, "I'll return them as soon as we have this conversation,"

She was torn, as much as she wanted to murder him right then and there, her mind was struck with fear, knowing it would never be that easy.

"Fine, what do you want?"

"I want you to join me, turn on your companions, and turn the tide of the war," Bahuma said, "You are one of the most incredible individuals I have ever seen, and... I know I can't win, not against them, not without you,"

Corvus was struck, the words 'you are one of the most incredible individuals I have ever seen' echoing through her head. She shook herself to her senses.

"I would never help you. Hell, I don't even want to fight for my friends, what makes you think I would ever fight for you?" she spat back at him.

"Because your friends can't offer you what I can,"

"Don't pretend to know me or what I want. You know nothing about me,"

"No, but I think I do," Bahuma retorted, "I know what it's like to be mistrusted from the day you were born, to be hated just for being who you are, to be blamed for everything. I have been alone and isolated for my entire life, and I know you've been alone too,"

Again, Corvus was hit by the power of his words.

"None of your friends know how that feels, not like I do, and not like you do,"

He was right, between the Chief of the Gerudo, a Hylian Princess, the Prince of the Zora, and the most famed warrior of the Gorons, none of them knew the pain that she had suffered her entire life, to be hated by everyone around her, all for reasons outside of her control.
