It was a blast seeing everyone arrive over the next week or two. The first to arrive, diving down from the skies, was a really short, black-feather Rito woman. She was always wearing a lighter colored warm outfit, and her purple eyes seemed to sparkle with pride.
The second person to arrive was a Goron. He rolled into the town completely covered in sand, and he looked really out of place. He was massive, he had dark brown... skin? With white rock-hard hair covering his chin and head. He seemed like a pretty fun guy, nice and polite, but really awkward in town. He hauled a large bat looking weapon over his shoulder.
The third guy was a Zora. He was Zariah's favorite. He came to town with a literal gallon of water, and yet he looked really dehydrated and miserable, which seemed really bad for a fish person. He had blue scales, a grin was always on his face, and a guitar and a trident across his back. Despite being completely out of his element, he seemed to really enjoy being here.
Finally, the traveling Gerudo women, who Aadil had sent out to find these people, arrived, and along with them came a Hylian lady dressed like some sort of ninja, with a scarf wrapped around her neck and white hair, unlike she had ever seen on any Hylian in her life.
Once everyone had arrived, Aadil called them all to the main throne room, the entrance to the palace. Zariah stood next to Aadil, and Kesair stood on his other side. She noticed on Aadil's right ring finger was some sort of black and gold she hadn't seen before.
He got to his feet, facing the four warriors they had brought. The Goron and the Hylian both stood there looking awkward and out of place, but the Rito completely embraced it, and the Zora was resting rather suavely on his guitar.
"Kesair, here, has brought you here from all of the Hyrule because there is a man in Hyrule Castle who can do things no one else ever seen before. His name is Bahuma," he started, embracing the dramatic tension in the air, "He can make people disappear in a second, he can make a little girl go mute," he gestured towards Zariah, "He can teleport — I'm pretty sure, he can move things without touching them, and... need I go on?
"The point is we have no idea what he can do, but we do know that he has a plan, and," he looked at this group of people, "Look around. These people standing next to you are some of the greatest warriors Hyrule has ever seen. We are all that is standing between him and conquering Hyrule for good. If I'm being honest, I don't know what to do next," he scratched the back of his head, "We can't know what to do until Bahuma makes the first move,"
"That's what I do in sumo wrestling," the Goron spoke up, almost blurting it out, "I wait for them to try to attack, sidestep 'em and take advantage of the moment to shove 'em out the ring,"
Zariah felt like she had heard the word Sumo before but she had no idea what it meant now.
Aadil grinned wide, "Exactly. Until then, we wait. I invite all four of you to make yourselves comfortable here, get to know each other well, and when Bahuma attempts to strike next, we dodge it and take advantage of the moment to strike back,"
He finished his speech of sorts, and then stretched a little and turned to leave the room. Zariah had no idea what to do. She wanted to get to know these people a bit more, she loved meeting new people, but she didn't know if they were gonna go anywhere or not, she didn't know what they were gonna do.
Gradually they started to leave the room and Zariah did nothing but stand there. So having nothing else to do, she found herself at the base of the outside walls. A smile grew across her face, this would be a challenge.
Obviously she couldn't just climb the face of the wall, there were no cracks she could squeeze her fingers into. However, looking at it from the front of the building, there were these two great pools of water at the base of the building, and then there were two statues of Gerudo women.
