yeri is out again; she's with jungkook and his friends, again. she's never with us anymore and we were getting bored as we didn't have enough time to hang out with each other. testing is coming up and all of the members are busy studying. 

its been more than three hours and i've been sitting at my desk, trying to study for my upcoming tests. taeyong's room is across from mine; he might've passed out and just slept. i walk outside and to the kitchen. my parents were back home, and my mom is in the kitchen.

"mom, can i ask you something?" i asked and sat at the kitchen island. 

"yeah, but how's studying going? also where's taeyong?" she asked and i chuckle a little.

"taeyong is probably asleep. studying is going great, but it's kind of boring. i wanted to ask you if you kim yerim?" i asked her and she nods a little.

"oh yeah, her parents work at this small cafe i go to in the morning. why'd you ask?" my mom said and continued to cook.

"oh, it's just that there's this guy who's older than her, and i know that they are just toying with her. i just don't know if i should tell her because we aren't close and it probably isn't my business." i said, pouting at her.

"let me guess, you like her but too slow to ask her. i would just wait it out and see what happens, just be sure to be by her side when she needs it. then she'll notice what's going on." mom said and i just nod.

"i'm going back up to finish studying." i said and get up.

"don't you want to eat?" mom asked and i just nod.

"maybe later. i'll wake taeyong up and ask him to eat with you." i said and walk back up.

i walk to taeyong's room and wake him up. he goes down to the kitchen and he eats with mom. i walk into my room and turn on some soft music. it was going to be a long night, and i'm not going to sit through my whole studying time in silence. i sit at my desk and started studying where i left off. 

i continued to study for another two hours and got hungry. i grab my phone on my bed and walked down the stairs. mom had left some food on the stove for my, and i just reheated it up. while waiting, i open my phone and look through it, as i didn't look through for a few hours. i reply back to some text messages and looked through some posts. 

irene had texted me that yeri was home and not to worry. i sigh and ate my food, while scrolling through a bunch of pictures. it was practically midnight and everyone was asleep but me. i clean up the kitchen and walk back to my room. i wash up and change; i get ready for bed and turn off all the lights. i set my phone on the table and close the remaining lights. before covering myself with a blanket, i hear my phone ring, and i get up to see what it was.
